phone has lagging issues

Upgraded from an HTC device hoping for a better experience, and finding myself back where I started. The phone is not performing as a "flagship" should. The phone takes a very long time to turn on, the camera is slow and cumbersome. Hard to end a call, the screen stays black, until the person whom I was on the call with hangs up. I could go on and on... hoping for an update to fix the bugs.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, has bad lagging issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As you can see up and below, some of the features are ok, but overall I dont it is something worth buying
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Too big

I love my phone. Got it early on contract and am absolutely please with it. Especially the large and brighter screen over the Galaxy S3
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color

I love everything about the s5 I just wish my 4g connection was a little better I'm always on 3g. Other than that it's awesome.

The Galaxy S5 is a great phone. Perfect size without being bulky. Fast and bright screen with awesome display of videos and pictures. The camera takes the best pictures of any phone I've used or seen. Love the fingerprint scanner for unlocking the phone as I was using the face recognition on my S3 before and always had to take off sunglasses or make sure the light was right, etc. This way is much easier and I can also set up my wife so she can unlock it if need be. Great reception just about anywhere and better than the S3 in that respect.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
