I bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 to replace my iPhone 4, and I don't care for it.
It doesn't maintain connections to wifi signals, and constantly tells me my 3G/4G isn't on, while I know it's active. Related to this, it cannot download/upload data well, making download apps, and uploading 30sec videos to social media nearly impossible.
The processing speed is sluggish to the point of being almost unusable. This can occasionally be fixed by restarting the unit.
I do prefer the chrome browser and keyboard to the iPhone's safari and keyboard.
I like the built in fitness apps that can track my diet, my excersize and heartrate.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers
Cons: Did not meet expectations, cannot maintain internet connections.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I switched from an s3 to an s5 and I can't believe how amazing this phone is! Highly recommend any Samsung product! You gus just get what the consumer wants and needs! Thank you for making great products!!

My Samsung5 has always been faithful

I am still very happy with my phone a year later. After work hours its the only "computer" I am ever on. I can google anything I need right on my phone. I am in no hurry to upgrade I am happy with my 5S!

I have been a long time Samsung user, the early 90s with the boom boxes and cassettes tapes and even then their products were well made and loved by many, today Samsung have a whole new way to rekindle that interest in their brand with a vast array of electronics, the s5 is the best phone made I have many express the same from its functional features to it's ease of use in loving it more and more, yes it's the song we sung

I mainly bought a new phone because my old one wouldn't hold a charge anymore and I was due for an upgrade. I need to charge this phone at least twice as many times a day than my old one. To make a call you need to go through too many steps and half the people say they can't hear me when don't even move the phone from my mouth. This is definitely the worst phone I ever bought. Should have bought a new battery for my old and used the other money for a lot of other things.
Pros: takes a good picture
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no battery life, to many steps to make a call

This is a good phone. It displays great quality; it is very clear for speaking and listening.(no static)
