Seems to work for most of what I need

While I don't live on my phone, I do use it for the basics. Talking, texting, occasional web surfing, and most recently emails. Talk and text are generally flawless, with the exception of areas where my service provider fails in the coverage area, then the phone becomes relatively useless...for anything! (Not Samsung's fault). Since I have started using the phone for emails (why, I have no idea...disconnect for a while is a good thing), I had a difficult time installing Charter email and still, sending emails from that account fail. Seems to be an issue with the outgoing server in the device. This could be Charter specific or Samsung specific, I'm not sure because my Samsung tablet has the same issue. I guess if I had a different manufacturer of one of them I would be able to determine which was the issue. Gmail works well on the phone, however. Social media pages function well, but I have since removed them from the device just so I can disconnect and not be bothered by notifications. Overall, I think it's a good phone. I do feel that these devices have gotten way too pricey, therefor only leasing mine. I guess if you intend on keeping a phone for a really long time, a purchase would be a good option, but at the rate technology is advancing on phones, whatever you get today will be obsolete in a few months. Cell provider upgrades and incentives to get the latest and greatest make buying a phone less of an option than leasing. I am satisfied, for the most part, but I am a basic needs user on this phone. I'm sure I could have some use for the expanded features of this, but don't my face buried in my phone all day, there's so much more to see in the world.
Cons: expensive, challenges with outgoing email server
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ive had the Galaxy S2 , S4 & S5 . The phone is awesome , it is so easy 2 use . Its the perfact screen size . My 3 yr old even gets on it 2 play games by her self . The camera takes really good photos .
This is absolutely the worst phone I have ever had. It worked fine until I did the software update. Prior to the software update it was a great phone. But after that the phone's screen would periodically shut off even though the phone was still on. After I replaced the phone, because it was still under warranty, I did the update on the new phone and THIS current phone will restart out of the blue no matter what I am doing and it happens sporadically. Basically: The phone is great if you don't do the update. Also I haven't even had the phone for a year yet. I have also not dropped it or had any water damage.
This is the first phone to innovate multi window and water proofing.Love the adaptive sound configuration as well.never had any problems with this phone except the high battery use it comes with, but when things get bad you have 2 power saving modes to get you through anything.
This is my first smart phone, I liked it so much that a bought a second one for for son who was using a LG smartphone. I can't really compare this phone to other smartphones but my son said it's light years ahead of his old LG smartphone. I really thought it would be difficult to transition from a flip phone to a smartphone but this phone is easy to figure out. The more I use it I'm finding more apps and useful functions that I wouldn't want to live without. If you're on the fence about purchasing a Samsung smartphone buy it, you won't be disappointed.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, i like the big display.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I recently upgraded to a Samsung S5 16GB, and have nothing but great things to say! This was a budget-friendly purchase, as my mobile carrier only keeps the Certified Pre-Owned models in stock. As a mother, my biggest priorities are staying connected and keeping my family safe and organized. I know a good product when I see one...Samsung is a name I have always depended on! ;-)
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, reliable, several choices to fit any need
