After receiving my galaxy s5 while I was excited with all the new features and the increase in size, I was very disappointed in the performance in fact I'm still debating whether to return it and stay with my s4. There seems to be a lot of latency and hesitation when browsing the Internet as well as running apps. I would have liked to have written a great review, but alas my phone is once again stuck.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is simpe, big and it is easy to transfer data. The speaker could be better but it is still decent

I am so impressed that even though my samsung galaxy is not even the latest generation, i can still keep up with all the new iPhones and other android phones. I will always be a samsung guy.

Best device I have ever had!

Overall best phone I have ever used. Durable and responsive long-lasting good quality product. After two years I had a busted screen. (Cause most likely hot and cold temperature changes and over time wear) got a replacement phone and couldn't be happier! Would definitely not be near as good for me if it weren't for the durability and water proof features. Love my Samsung!

I have been a samsung fan for years. The GS5 had several advantages over the previous GS4. Faster, nicer screen, well rounded. However, there are a few things that work not as well as the previous model. Camera, do not disturb, owner info on lock screen, CAR mode.
Used to love CAR MODE. But they made it so you can no longer access other apps such as Pandora, or Milk radio.
Do not disturb. You used be able to ali specific people to ring through, I.e. Only my wife, and daughter. Now you can only allow favorites. So I can only have 2 people in my favorite list.
Love the ability to add owner info to the front in case phone is lost. But now if you turn on DO NOT DISTURB, our if you get a notification of any kind. It covers the owner info.

I love the Galaxy S5 phone its fast and good performance and I love the remote control and how can check my heart rate. I will always use a Galaxy phone they are the best! Also transferring files between phones I love it.I get my son and his wife to switch from (IPhone 5 years of) to Galaxy note 5.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight

It's better than the s5 for sure. Not as glitchy but still not sure about not having my own SD card for pictures and music. I'm filling up the phones memory fast. As far as the price.... we will see if the phone holds up to see if it's worth it.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers
Cons: Too big, no removable sd card for better storage, price
