Love the phone but nothing's perfect. I definitely recommend getting expanded memory because as soon as the internal is full the device becomes really sluggish.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight, hd display, great design
Cons: small storage

This phone is trash after update

updating the phone made it useless. The phone cant Handel its normal processes anymore or the 3 apos I installed. Its junk and I regret buying it
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor function, bad memory and processor

The features of the device help me tolerate the overall slow and clunky feeling of the phone. I had an S4 and loved it. Then started a new job and was forced to use the S5 or iPhone. I chose the lesser of two evils.
With that being said, the size, weight and water resistance are all key features for someone like me who works in out in the field most days. But the battery life, responsiveness, and annoying USB 3.0 charging port really cast a shadow over the device. Taking upwards of 10 seconds to take a picture, 3 seconds until the hangouts app responds to touch, or the 5 seconds it takes to turn the screen on are all factors that make me want to abandon this "three year old" flagship phone. Please note: I run minimal apps on the phone, so the responsiveness could be the device, or the ridiculous bloatware VZW requires on it.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, water resistant
Cons: Did not meet expectations, slow and unresponsive, terrible battery life

Generally a decent phone, however, as typical, the phone runs out of memory way too quickly! Why can't Verizon and Samsung make a phone with an abundance of memory so it never runs out before it's outdated?
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: not enough memory, fragile
