Unbelievable product performance

I am a new galaxy user and have had other phone talk the talk but when it can to walking the walk they have all fell short. Two days ago I went on a boating trip with my friend RJ and his 3 yr old son. While on that trip I had my phone in a water prof box with cogs and other items. Well my phone kept ringing while in the box I got concerned that my be there was an emergence and I got my phone out of the box. Answered it and it was my girlfriend with no emergence. Well shortly after I had hung up with her we can to a part in the river that was part way blocked by a log that had fallen when we went around this area we hit a rapped followed by a small water fall at which the coneo had tipped over. Total forgot bout my phone and was concerned about getting the hill safely to shore with the boat when getting the boy from the boat at shore I took notice to my phone laying at the bottom of the boat. It had to be under water for at least ten minutes. I took it home and let it dry for the night and the next day started it expecting nothing, but to my suprise this phone start and ran as if I just purchased it from the store. I have done similar things with other phones dropped in a puddle the toliet. All with the same result the phones wereally and broken but not this Samsung galaxy 5s. The people with me during that boating trip are all just as amazed as I was. Today my two friend had both gone and purchase this same style phone s I had.
Thank u for a great product I will never go any where else for a phone again. And if your tv's are anything like the phones, I will be puchasing my next TV from samsung.

Replaced this product 5x. Not sure if getting any phone when it first comes out is advisable. Each time I try it doesn't work out well for me. Would be an excellent phone if it would have stopped turning itself on and off randomly.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone made my life so much easier. I used to be aN iPhone user but not anymore. I convinced my partner to switch to Samsung too. And he loves it

I can't put things were I want them and some of the things on the home screen you can't remove. I liked my Galaxy 3 better.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight

its my first samdung phone but its my favourite. Its so fast and battery life is great. Premium design

The S5 is an excellent, solid performing phone

I'm hard on phones, before the S5, I would usually break the phone or just use it to death. But the S5 is seemingly indestructable! On top of that, it's very stylish...thanks for thinking of us humans when you designed it. Actually, I'm looking forward to eventually upgrading to the next model, which I can only do when this one wears out....that may be a long, long time in coming thanks to your excellent craftsmanship.. thanks Samsung!!

Overall Very Good -- but it has a few bugs that need to be corrected.

This phone is very good. It handles everything I want in a phone and the camera is excellent! My only complaints are as follows:
1. WIFI calls keep dropping! Very frustrating!
2. The finger print scanner is a joke. Rarely works correctly and is more trouble to use than it's worth. This is a shame as that is a feature I would like to have been able to use.
3. The auto correct feature on text messaging does not function properly. Often it changes a word after you have typed it correctly and you don't notice it until you hit the send button. I now have to review each text before sending, which is a pain in the neck!
4. The battery life is not good even when using battery saver mode and app. The battery does not seem to last as long now since I received the Lollipop 5.1.1 update. I'm not sure if I like the Lollipop update as I have not had it long enough.
