I put off getting a smart phone for a long time, but I'm so glad I have it now. I love that I can use apps to do most everything. I never feel alone with this phone and it is a good feeling. I would suggest getting a smart phone to everyone and this phone is a great idea.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, long battery life

Waterproof Dustproof need I say more!?!

I bought this device for my 16 year old daughter. I love my daughter, but she is not one to pay great attention. My daughter goes through phones as if they grow on trees. Seems like 90% of them end up with water damage. Not this time though, I did my homework and found the S5 to be the answer. So far rhis device has been indestructible. Everyday my daughter tells me how much she loves the S5. It's fast, has a great camera for selfies, and its small enough for her hands. Thank you Samsung for all your innovations. You have made my daughter as well as me very happy customers.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, waterproof, dustproof, 16 year old daughter proof
Cons: no cons here. sorry

My work provided an S6 edge but I retired and could only afford an S5. It does everything I need in an excellent fashion. Very happy!

i was given the rebuilt phone through an insurance claim on my galaxy S4. phone would freeze and randomly shut down and restart. I talked with the insurance company regarding the issues of my rebuilt S5 and they sent me a brand new, not rebuilt Galaxy S6. i have been beyond satisfied going from my S4 to the S6 on a day to day basis. battery life is great, screen resolution is incredible, design of phone is spectacular, only draw back is the lack of an SD card slot. i would without hesitation recomend the S6, but not sure about the S5, because mine was rebuilt.

Cons: Did not meet expectations
