Overall it is a good device. However some simple functions are difficult to figure out. FOr example I have a security feature where i draw a pattern to unlock the phone. I do not want this and it appears there is no way to remove this. It is also cumbersome to delete search history. AS I am older my primary function is the phone. The phone functionality is ok but not as good as my previous HTC one. I like the device but do not love the device.
The title really says it all. I upgraded (grudgingly) from a droid... I am Soooo happy that I did. I just like everything about this phone with one minor exception that I have learned to live without, a keyboard. The keyboard feature is what I liked about my Droid. But after using my Galaxy s5 for a couple months, I 1) got used to the extra size, 2) got used to the virtual way of using a keyboard. I have large fingers and it has been challenging for me to use virtual keyboards. I like the way the aps can be put into folders, and the use of main screen allows me to just have 2 screens instead of 4 or 5 to keep and use all my apps in an easily recognizable way. Great on board phone memory and with the ability to have an SD card with 64gig. I have loads of apps, music, and over 20 full length movies with room to spare. I bloody love this thing. So I went and purchased the Note pro 12.2. Now I am in Heaven. LOL One feature that has been outstanding about this phone is the ability to control apps to prolong battery life. Just love it.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

Now the galaxy s5 the screen size is perfect for ome handed texting. There are great quality cases available for it as well. It can handle a 128gb micro SD card. Its processor is great. My favorite feature is the fingerprint scanner security without a doubt. It's light weight and has a crystal clear screen.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, great features
Cons: the camera is only 17 megapixels
I would recommend this to a friend!

This device has better apps and has a much better camera. I really enjoy the way the phone is laid out and how it operates.
