Having a motorola flip-phone for the past eight years, diving into the world of widgets and apps with a smartphone was a challenge, sometimes frustrating. Although the customization options make the galaxy challenging to get hold of, the ability to personalize and be creative with the configurations is one of the great aspects. The large screen makes it easy to see the websites or essays I edit on polaris. The texting and calling features are smooth, efficient, and a pleasure to use. I would definitely recommend this phone

Upgrade to Galaxy S5

Big improvement over S3....
Still learning features.
Hoping for better battery life as the S3 was terrible
Still pocket dialing however.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: touch screen too sensitive

I have been using the S5 for over a year and love it! It is so user friendly and easy to accomplish any tasks. Pics and videos are sharp and true to color. Highly recommend all the Samsung products.

My first smart phone - Samsung Galaxy S5

This phone replaced my ten year old LG flip dumb phone which I had hung on to for so long because I didn't want to go through the learning curve of a new more capable smart phone. I shouldn't have waited so long, because the S5 was relatively easy to learn (although I'm still learning) and I didn't know what I was missing. I'm very satisfied with my choice. The phone is pretty easy to use and has capabilities well in excess of what I had expected. The 5.1" screen is large and gorgeous, and the phone camera takes impressive photos. All in all I think I made a great choice and I think the phone will provide me many years of satisfied use.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: the only con is battery life could be longer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really good Galaxy

I have had a few Galaxy phones in the past and I think this one is the best thus far. As with most phones it does have limits.
