Great phone, love it

I love my new Galaxy S5. The big screen makes watching videos very enjoyable, the camera is amazing, the fact that it's waterproof is a huge plus, and it's fast. It makes my life so much easier, my old phone was getting slow and glitchy and it was hard to do anything on it. Now I can do whatever I need with ease.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, big screen

Reliable and easy

I do like this phone, I am old school. I grew up with corded phones and no computers. But do like smart phones because the convenience. This phone was easy to set up and is reliable, I have no complaints.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Durable
Cons: strange charging port.

Great upgrade~

I purchased this phone when I upgraded from an LG, talk about night and day difference! I can't find much wrong with this phone at all. I can stream video and music to it with no hiccups, few dropped calls (yeah, I know thats usually a carrier thing but my LG dropped sporadically.) I have all the memory in the phone itself to store my apps where on my LG I had to have an SD card to store them, now my SD card is just for music! I have talked my girlfriend into upgrading from a Galaxy Lite to this phone and she is happy too.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: price

The only thing I would ask for is more storage and a longer battery life. the screen is beautiful, the processor fast, and very durable.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: battery does not last long enough, needs more memory

Many surprises

This is my first smart phone. I've used others' smart phones before, so I am familiar with operating them in a general sense, but the Galaxy S5 surprised me with a number of features that I wasn't expecting: the heart rate monitor used with the S Health app, the IR blaster that makes the phone a TV/BluRay remote control and the fingerprint secure feature were all totally unexpected for me.
I'm also impressed with how well the phone operates, especially considering all these "bell & whistles", which I would normally associate with a sacrifice to other basic functions. I don't see any of that here.
I am totally satisfied and pleased with my choice for my first smart phone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: speaker doesn't handle loud volume very well

I LOVE my Samsung Galaxy S5. I didn't know what I was missing until I purchased my Samsung Galaxy. It has endless features. Ito nice having all the apps and features at my fingertips. I have and will continue to recommend this phone to friends ,family and acquaintances. My husband would agree it's the best thing I've purchased in a LONG time!

I had the iPhone before the Samsung and I can tell you how much I love and appreciate the ease of use of this phone. I will always have a Samsung phone it is great!!
