The battery life is horrible in normal mode, and the phone is extremely unstable with in power save modes. The cover over the charging port is annoying and the finger print recognition function to unlock the phone is terrible. It works 10% of the time or less. The email program stinks and the contacts program constantly duplicates my contacts and it does not sync with Outlook - even using the latest version of Samsung's Kies utility. Over all, not a great phone and certainly not as good as the S4 was.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, horrible battery life, no contacts synchronization with outlook
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Galaxy S5 camera is amazing

The 16 mega pixel camera in the Galaxy S5 is amazing. It takes crystal clear pictures an catches every detail an color in the photo. Being a sells rep the camera is a awesome selling tool to my customers. Between that an all the new features this phone provides.
Can't wait to see what the Galaxy S6 will bring to the table.

Cons: water can't touch the screen or it glitches

I love my phone except when receiving or making calls people on the receiving end cant nor hear me at all.i have to put them on speaker for them to hear me.im planning on returning phone as this is unacceptable

I own several Samsung Products. Ok. I absolutely love my samsung galaxy s5. The features on it are absolutely amazing. I would recommend this phone to anyone.

This phone has held it's own. It deals with creating, sending, and editing documents. It can play high quality videos with ease, it's battery does not overheat after prolonged use like many other phones I have had do. I love the fingure print scan option, the IR device, and many more features the S5 has offered me. With this phone I no longer just shop in the Google Play store. I also shop in the Galaxy store. Great apps, features, and most of all performance on this device.

5s has iPhone on the run. I use heart rate, pedometer, camera, on walks while listening to radio apps. Clear voices when I use the Phone, Tablet has the world for my questions to find answers. Intuitive ease to use. Friends who are waiting for iPhone 6 are seriously talking about switching from watching how I use this marvel! This Fall with the curved model for glass full immersion iS The Future.
