the phone is great, but the updates are terrible

I love my s5. For the most part, it does everything i need it to do. Usually have a great signal and text get in and out when i need them to. The problem that i seem to consistently have now with Samsung are the updates. The biggest problem has been, with my last two phones, that the updates drain my battery to the point where my phone will not stay charged for longer than a couple hours. My contact list keeps shutting down and my email will not update correctly. I not sure I am going to stay with a product that I truly like because Samsung keeps letting these updates through that keeping ruining my experience with their phones.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Durable
Cons: updates are terrible
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the phone

I went from an iphone to the S5. I love the ease of use and it wasnt hard to learn the new features.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

This phone has great features and is easy to use. The camera takes great pics. It's easy to connect to other devices.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: i would perfer the power botton on the top

Short battery life

I do like the phone itself. It has great features. I especially like the split screen! The pictures on the screen are very vivid which I like. I also enjoy having the built in pedometer and heart rate monitor. I DO NOT LIKE THE LIFE OF THE BATTERY! I always have had Android phones. I asked how the battery life was on this phone. They told me it would be much better than my Droid, since it was newer. WRONG! As soon as I turn this phone on, you can see the battery life draining out of it!
Pros: Lightweight
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I cannot say how disappointed I am that Samsung chose not to take advantage of camera2 in android 5. I am a photographer and was planning on using the Galaxy S5 as a backup camera. I only shoot in raw... again, I am EXTREMELY disappointed with Samsung
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Easy to get used too. Great screen and about the right size. Have had the 3 for several years. The 5 does everything better.
