My first smart phone and am impressed with the speed and capabilities of it. Have used only short time. Better performance than my laptop and much more portable. Excellent GPS works great with golf apps. Voice operations are excellent. Educational opportunities are good thru available Android apps.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: fingers too big for kb.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This device topples most I've used, astonishing photos, blazing fast processing, and a pleasing sleek design, I must say the Samsung galaxy s 5 is by far the best device I've ever owned.

At first I wasn't totally happy with my S5 but when I downloaded Lollipop it fixed all my issues and now I'm very happy with the phone. Great camera and lots of great features I look over forward to getting the new S6.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color

I purchased a cover for peace of mind. The phone overheated.
The charge is weak while I use it for online content. It takes a while to charge as well. The only way I can get a faster charge is if the phone is off. What's the sense? It also freezes up and can't reboot it. I end up having to take the battery out.

Most times , I have Wi-fi, location, sync, and bluetooth off in an attempt to prolong the battery life. That shouldn't have to be.
I have had better Samsung products in the past. This one, I didn't buy at first...I figured sit and wait, so if there were any glitches it would be ironed out by the time I purchased this.
Pros: Built-in speakers
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use cell phone with many features

I found the Galaxy 5 to be much superior to the Galaxy 3 I had been using. I have yet to find any feature that I wish was better.

Overall I like this phone very much. Nice size screen and not too thick. I just switched from the HTC One (which I loved) but bought this phone because it was the best deal available to me. I wish Samsung would do two things; front facing speaker(s) and a metal case. Other than that, this phone is very similar to my HTC One. The camera is fantastic! The operating system is good. Easy to navigate and customize the screens the way I want them. I also like that I was able to add an SD card to store all my pics and videos to save space for all my apps in the 16 gigs that came with the phone. The new charger is FAST which is great. Nice that they left a way to use the old charger size too.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, excellent camera
Cons: no front facing speakers
I would recommend this to a friend!
