This is by far one of the best phones I have ever had. From the battery life to the applications itself makes this a worthy phone for all android users.

Before I had this phone it was a while since I've had a smart phone, and I've been wanting a galaxy since the s3. So, I was planning on buying The s5 when it came out, so I was pretty excited. I love this phone! This is about the best smart phone I've had in years! It was totally worth the wait. The camera is amazing it takes clear crisp photos, I'm not a photo taking person until I got this phone. I love the studio feature for editing pictures and videos I have never had any phone that was capable of doing such a thing, so that excited me. I also enjoy the size and picture of the screen, it is a perfect size. Unlike like other phones where it's either to small or uncomfortable and too clunky to hold. I don't have any such problems with the s5. Overall, I absolutely LOVE all the features available! (I'm still figuring out new features, haha.) You guys are awesome! I hope you keep making such quality products that me and my family love. Sincerely, a very happy costumer. P.S I cannot wait for the new galaxy edition.

Blows the iPhone 5 out of the water

When I compared the galaxy 5s to the iPhone s5 my galaxy blew it out of the water in just about every department I downloaded a few common apps on each like clash of clans and the galaxy downloaded about 1.5 times faster than the iPhone 5s also the galaxy's 16 gig internal storage beats the 14 gig storage on the iPhone overall I would highly recommend this the only real downside is its expensive but I think it's worth the value

This is the dopest phone I have had EVER> I was resistant to spending the money but i am soooooo Glad I did. It keeps me so productive and i havent even added a micro SD yet. I havent needed to . Had the phone since April and to say I havent filled it up .. says a lot.. Im close tho ! lol ... And to know I can add another 128GB to it ! yesssssssssssss! lol .... The new phone specs from that OTHER phone ... just make me love my phone even more. I think Samsung has a customer for life in me ! Keep up the good work .. Only problem is the screen burn i got from the Flipboard app ... it makes me skeptical about adding screensavers and such

Great camera with this product

I take a lot of photos. With the camera on my phone, it takes excellent pictures. Once the pictures are taken, it is so easy to post them to Facebook or send them to any one via email or text.

Battery issues!

This phone was amazing the first 3 months I had it. I've always had stock Google phones so this was my first venture into Samsungs world. The transition was smooth and I learned to appreciate some of the added features Samsung added to Android.
The biggest plus was that this phone would a charge even with heavy usage. I could easily get through over a day with moderate usage and still have battery to spare. That all changed a week ago. For some unknown reason the phone now can drain 10% in 2 hours just sitting there doing nothing with many of the extras turned off. Not even juice defender has helped this. I drove to work with the battery at 92%. It is now 2 hours later and my batter is at 83%. I've sent 4 texts in that time and went on Fb for maybe 5 minutes.
I've gotten rid of apps, disabled anything I don't use that I can't uninstall and even put the thing on battery saver. For the money spent, this is the type of thing I don't expect. I love my phone but if I have to huddle near power outlets or turn off everything on it to get it to last the day, what's the point? Would really love this fixed!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, great features
Cons: poor battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
