When I heard that I was getting an iphone I was kind bummed but when I got the galaxy s5 I was excited because it phone is so much more reliable than the iphones
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: sometimes slow

Only have one issue with this phone and its the speakers. I can barely hear anyone when on speaker mode. Can't hear my videos and music very well. Everything else on the phone is great. Camara is awesome. Takes very clear and sharp photos. I have very clear calls. And love the fact that it's water proof.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, water proof
Cons: speakers

Amazing upgrade

I recently upgraded from a Galaxy S3 to the Galaxy S5. It's been around 2 months now and it works fantastic. It is much faster and hasn't lagged. The camera is just breathtaking. The pictures are quite amazing but lose their quality during night time or in dark areas, but nevertheless, it is amazing. The display is very bright and I love it! The only thing that worries me is that it is AMOLED display. Since black doesn't use energy, the pixels don't lose energy but white makes the pixels lose a lot of energy. That is a problem when you have an app you use so often and it causes a burn in on your display. That is my only worry. Overall, this phone is just what I needed. I can open my power points, or documents for school and use it for personal things such as music, videos, etc.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: burn in on amoled display

Samsung Galaxy 5S is the best phone I have owned to date. Ever so glad that I ditched the iPhone 5s. Wonderful apps, fair price, great features, excellent reception, great camera, responsive and very user friendly and yet I learn a new "hidden" feature everyday. The only reason that I did not give a five star rating was the speaker is on the weak side. If it played a bit louder and clearer, there wouldn't be an issue. Also, perhaps in a future system update, the fingerprint reader could be improved. It takes several passes for it to read your fingerprint. After five failed attempts, it locks you out for thirty seconds. I just use the pin code to unlock now. Other than those two issues (and not being allowed to play purchased music through the regular music player as opposed to using Google Play Music) the phone is perfect.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, camera, responsive, built in features
Cons: weak speakers, fingerprint reader
