My Samsung GALAXY S5 has amazing charging times

This phone has the quickest charging capability of any smartphone that I have ever owned. Not to mention, I can still use all of my old chargers with the split port that Samsung has brilliantly integrated. All my friends are impressed by that.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, split charging port, large display, helps track my data usage, extra security features, high quality accessories
Cons: charging port cover hinge seems easy to break., micro phn static after it was submerged in water, locks up occasionally

Lots of great new features, from new back cover, battery life, and so far..... durability. In regards to the new OS, there are plenty of new yet familiar features. One of the most impressive things, in my opinion is maintaining a natural yet simplistic system layout. Thereby allowing a "novice" user a feeling of less confusion and frustration. This is definitely apparent if one would go back and forth between the S4 & S5, even attempting the same outcome.
One of my not so, "satisfied" attributes is the flimsy charger port cover. The port cover/flap having to be constantly open and closed, etc., is a potentially substantial flaw waiting to happen. My second dissappointing feature lacking, is not having at least the wireless charging option, pre-installed. This would decrease the overall time/money each S5 owner would have to allocate; not to mention the Benedit it wold bring to the flimsy charging port issue!

Wireless Instability

Recently upgraded from S4 to S5 and the only difficulty is maintaining a wireless connection with the new phone. I've read various forum reports and taken the following actions. 1. For each wireless network frequently used: Wi-Fi, picked the wireless network, then Show advanced options, then change IP setting to Static. That did not work so well. 2. Then my home wireless router settings changed to a single channel without traffic as identified by a Wi-fi Analyzer app. 3. What may have worked: Settings, Wi-Fi, Advanced, make certain the Smart network switch is NOT SELECTED.
Anyway, if you are having Wi-Fi instability with this phone, these are the "easy" solutions. Based on my this week experience, I recommend starting with #3.
I watch MLB TV on my S5 and on my home wireless network, could not get through one player batting without having to turn off Wi-Fi and turn it back on again. This was a real pain!

This is by far the best phone that I have ever had. I miss the Iphone in some ways but by far this BLOWS IPHONE out of the water

The phones features make life on the fly a lot more efficient.
The battery life is incredible and the ultra power saving has been extremely useful on multiple occasions.

Great features but hard to operate

This is my first smartphone.Need more detail on the features that are present. Would be easier if there was a place to go to see all the features that are present and terminology so you can investigate them one at a time (Hard copy would be fantastic). Cannot always sit at a computer to review the manual.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, camera
Cons: Too big, complicated
