Best Phone Ever!

This is the best phone I have had. I've tried a lot of different phones and this is by far the best.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, water resistant

This is a great phone, very practical but, I think Samsung app like the calendar, task could be improved,

Really like the waterproof feature. Phone takes amazing pictures and videos. Really feels small for how big the phone is because of how thin it is. I have recommended this phone to many of my friends.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, waterproof, 4k video, video with zoom, fast processing, heart rate monitor, pedometer
Cons: Too big

Good cell phone with good performance. Needs more substantial case.

Screen and Camera are the Best

I use an iPhone5S for work and got the GS5 for personal use. The screen size is great for viewing pictures, documents and movies. The screen quality really makes everything you see stand out. But with the larger screen, comes difficulty using it with one hand. Often times I need to adjust my hand in order to touch the farthest parts of the screen.
The camera is pretty amazing. Most of my friends comment how much better my pictures turn out over their iPhones. The features that is most outstanding is the selectable focus, where you can choose whether to have something in the fore ground or back ground in focus and the rest slightly blurry. Very dramatic effect and something that's not natively on the iPhone.
The amount of included software and features is also very good. I've had the phone for a few months now and I still haven't discovered or used many of the features.
The Samsung skin (over top Android) is not to cumbersome and blends well.

Good upgrade from GS4

+ I like that the back (battery cover) is matte and a bit rubbery. It helps keep it where I put it and it feels good to hold. I also hated that the GS4 collected fingerprints back there.
+ The screen size is about right for the purpose. If I needed a bigger screen I'd have gone with a Note, but I probably wouldn't use the Note as a phone (and it wouldn't fit in my pocket like the GS5 does)
+ It's good for sysadmin work because android has great apps for SSH and Remote Desktop
+ There are a bunch of people I work with that have a GS5 (and a few that still have the GS4)
+ The weatherproofing is /amazing/

- It's unfortunate that it doesn't have a dedicated graphics chip (ie Tegra). If battery life is a concern, add an option to turn that chip off and on in the tray menu, like you do for wifi or Bluetooth. Sure the graphics chip will make it more expensive, but I wouldn't buy the phone without financing anyway, and what's another couple of months?
- I miss the stock browser (Specifically the Labs options that let you use the minimal UI gestures)
- The bloatware is really annoying

- I still wish "rooting" phones wasn't such a pain. I haven't even bothered to do it on the GS5 because I'm afraid it will break something, but honestly having root makes an android device a TON more useful (especially for sysadmin work)

Best phone on the market...

I'm an ex-iOS guy, and gave had several other Android phones, including the Samsung Galaxy 3. This latest model is the best yet; fast, feature-packed and easy to use.
I'd like to see some additional options on the wireless charging covers, but I'm sure that's in the works.
