Best phone I have ever had

The S5 is a great phone. The display is awesome and the features blow everything else away. Very happy that I bought it.

Great, but...

I really like the device overall, but there are some things that are sub-par. One thing in particular is the following:
Every so often it will just freeze. It always finally gives me control again, but for a short time, it refuses to respond to any touch commands.
On occasion it will shut down an application that is using the GPS. Annoying to say the least if you are trying to track your exercise activity. I walk a lot (60 miles a month) and use an app to log the route and the distance/time of each walk. If I try and run two GPS apps competing for resources, that seems to be when the shutdown of one or both occurs.
On the positive side, the screen is bright and crisp - a plus for older folks like me.

This phone was the second Samsung phone I have had. Surprised by the speed and capabilities of this phone. When I call someone I feel assured that my phone call is not going to cut off before I intended

I was looking for a phone to replace my iPhone so I was received mended this one. I have to say this is the best phone I've ever used, it meets every spec.

I have had alot of phones over the years but seem to only like the Samsung phones. I love the S5 it is so easy to use, great camera, it is light and easy to use. Not to big not to small. Perfect. I love the finger swipe security and the weight and fit apps. I use it when I go walking to see how many heart rate and calories are burned. Playing music is awesome when I am walking. Audio sounds great. Love, love this phone :)

Perfect phone!

I think the S5 is the perfect phone. It does have a kinda short battery life, but power saving modes work well. I got a battery case that gives me a full day of heavy use.
My biggest concern was getting my iTunes music on the phone, and found that Google Play music works excellent, allowing me to upload 20000 songs to qn online acct!
I love this phone, and love "showing up" my iPhone friends!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: battery life. battery case helps but adds weight.
