Great hardware, loaded with useless gimmicky software

This bad boy locked down tight. If security is what you are looking for then this is your phone.
If you want a phone with freedom and choices and ability to do what you wish then this is not the phone for you.

Locked boot loader, and tons and tons of useless software preloaded that cant be removed without going through unsupported channels to free your phone. I would get this only if you dont care about customizing your phone.
I have had 2 so far and headphone audio quality is so horrible that I cant even listen to it on either phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, headphone audio is poor, locked boot loader, useless software loaded
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent phone

It may seem big at first , but after having it for a while it seems no bigger than any other phone I've had. Has a lot of nice features. Good camera, and great picture quality.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

Samsung S 5 great phone

I like the Samsung S 5 better than the 3 and 4. Samsung stepped their game up with the 5. I like the water resistant feature, the improved S Voice and speed of the phone. I really like the S 5.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: expensive

Best device ever. I love it. I have the Samsung watch and the work perfect together. Work fantastic with my TV and Blue Ray. I would recommend to everyone.

Very good Android phone

This phone does everything you need it to and some things you don't. In the "don't" category is the heart rate monitor, which I have found to be finicky to use. Luckily, that function was not one I was expecting or depending upon, so it doesn't really matter. In general this phone is fast and easy to use, with generally good battery life and configuration options enough to satisfy almost anyone. My only complaint is that it occasionally will not recognize that it is within range of wireless at home and will stay on cellular data, which drains the battery quickly. This only happens once in a while, though. I would also note that this is a pretty sizable phone, especially compared to my previous one, so it is slightly unwieldy to carry around. Minus a case, though, it is quite thin, so in that regard it is not bad.
Pros: Bright display, good camera, fast cpu
Cons: Too big, short battery life without wifi
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got the S5 when it was released, I am now on my second one. The first one started freezing up even when not in use. It finally just died. It had a big yellow triangle in the middle of the screen with a terminal error message.
My second S5 has to be restarted almost every day. Sometimes I make or receive a call, and the other party can hear me, but I can't hear them. Sometimes my camera freeze.
I had an S4 before, and never had any issues. Have already recommended to people not to get the S5.

The galaxy s5 is a great phone. I am able to do so much on it. And all the start up apps are excellent.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: front facing camera could have better quality
