not water resistant

This phone could not be sealed enough to make it water resistant. I pressed as indicated by the phone but it kept showing the seal screen. I accidentally took the phone in the pool for a couple of minutes at 2' depth and it leaked.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color

Miss my S3

I have had this phone for nearly a year now and have hated every single minute of it. I have been loyal to Samsung for years, always enjoyed their phones. This one fell incredibly far from the tree. I had issues with the phone from the second week. Poor audio quality, along with it echoing my own voice back to me, phone randomly switches applications on its own, the main button has an issue with sticking so I can’t get back to the home screen, randomly my phone will mute itself, so the person on the other end can not hear me, but my mute button is not on. Constant issues with this phone and only getting worse. I have not caused any water damage or anything.
I miss the S3. Never had a problem with it. I really hope that Samsung's future phones do a much better job.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, poor audio, switches apps on its own

This phone is the best I, or my family has owned. The processor speed is outstanding and the quality of workmanship is amazing! The bloat ware is extensive from AT&T and Samsung and is a definite drawback. Appearance is great. It is very irritating that space to being taken up by unused applications; if the phone came with 32 gig I probably would not care as much.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: excess apps, not able to delete apps not being used

The samsung s5 has a very smooth operating system.. Alot of nice features to add to your phone.. Its a bit tricky at first but once you get use to it.. Its an excellent choice...
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: very hard to figure out..

good phone gone bad

I love the samsung phones, but since this last update, I can't stand it!!! Everything is backwards, my messaging has a horrid orange color to it, that can not be changed. My phone will light up like there is an incoming text or call, but nothing is there. Also when it is hibernating, there will be no ringtones if I get a call and no text tones if I get a text. The message area is all messed up now and instead of hitting send on the right hand side, its on the left hand side. The update was supposed to have more emoji's and I have less. Also the pictures that I have taken with this phone are horrible and I am a photographer. I wanted to get the new Galaxy 6, until I found out that the new updates on the Galaxy 5 match the 6. Just what I didn't want to hear. There is also way to many apps that samsung has put on the phone that i will never use and there is no way to uninstall them. What a waste of space. Oh and with the new update, I have to keep changing the screen brightness as it keeps going dark on me. Even with it being all the way bright, it is awfully dark.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although I like the Galaxy S 5, the S 6 is better in performance and quality sound on speakers.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: speakers no so good

There are so many new features that I'm finding new ones everyday. It's like an all inone at my fingertips. So far I'm very happy.
