Compact size with Big numbers that can be dimmed to suit.
Very easy to set up and the radio works flawlessly thanks to the included long extendable antenna.

Pros: suits my needs nicely

TIME LIGHT CONTINUES TO BLINK WILL NOT SHUT OFF

After I programmed the time, the colon: between the hour and the minute keeps flashing. It will not turn off. It is an inconvenience to have the flashing colon between the hour and the minute on the display to keep blinking, when you are trying to fall asleep.
I called Phillips customer service, and they said it was standard, for the colon between the hour and the minute to flash constantly. I am taking this product back if it cannot be resolved soon. Other than that, nice size display, good sound, good price.
Pros: nice size display and blue lights
Cons: the time keeps blinking betwn the hour and minutes

Well thought out process for setting time and alarm

Well-designed clock/radio. I love the big numbers. Once I read the directions, the setting made perfect sense. The use of one button to turn alarm off and on was easy to remember.
Pros: large display

The buzzer alarm on this clock is not adjustable and is entirely to soft. I do not think the buzzer would wake anyone up!
Pros: clock face
Cons: buzzer volume to soft

It’s ok, but it’s a little difficult sometimes

My Dad got me this alarm clock to wake me up for school. It was really loud and got me up, and that’s saying something since I’m a heavy sleeper! I also really like how big it is. It fills up space and I can see what time it is from miles away! Unfortunately,
I live in an area prone to thunderstorms and the power goes out 1-3 times a month. Once that happened, it was really hard to set the time correctly. I tried and tried and eventually I just gave up. For a while the alarm clock showed a display of: —:— because I could not figure it out! Eventually I returned it. I don’t know if it’s just me having difficulties setting the time because I’ve seen other people in my household really enjoy this alarm clock, but personally, it’s not my first choice.
