I purchased this product as a replacement of the 60" samsing plasma i bought years ago. I loved the picture on that tv and the only reason i replaced it is because my 3 year old decided to throw a ice cream scooper at it.
Anyway, I have a long rectangular room and I was sceptical about the performance of the curved tv. I obviously pruchased the tv anyway and couldn't be happier. The tv displays a crystal clear picture anywhere in the room.
Thank you Samsung keep up the good work!

Sorry I meant to write terribly.
As in, I'm terribly impressed, in fact blown away with this piece of technology.
Calling it a TV is just an a complete understatement. It is also an insult as this machine is just so much more.
Our old Samsung 55" had performed admirably for 6 years and has now been relegated to the bedroom but we were missing the smart element that this model performs in the easiest way possible.
Out of the box set up is pretty much a matter of seconds. The in built picture modes are excellent and with the smart controller changing anything is simple.
All the built in Apps and quick access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime etc really make this system buzz. If you haven't watched Narcos or Orange is the new black in 4K it is a life changing experience comparable to but exceeding the launch of HD.
We opted for the curved design and it is absolutely beautiful.
In fact this piece of equipment surely is the future of home electronics, we just don't yet realize it and we've only scratched the surface of its capabilities, oh and by the way its really good for watching TV........

Found the picture as good as the OLED, sound is good for the built-in speakers, only thing missing is a component adapter,
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Built-in speakers
Cons: no component adapter or input

Had a chance to view 8000,9500 and 9800 and got to say the 9800 is like night and day difference. The full array backlight makes alot of difference compared to the edge lit, the 9800 gives you brighter more crystal clear image,bright dark black color. Picture quality looks so realistic, worth every penny expensive but worth it.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Built-in speakers, smart tv, smart hub

This product is very user friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this tv in July of this year and have been very impressed with the performance. The picture quality is exceptional and the main hub that connects directly to the tv makes adding new devices very easy. I love that the tv instantly recognizes the device added and syncs accordingly. My favorite feature is the voice activation in the remote.

really sad to see how they have lessened the fetures no remote ir and cursser is gone from gui note good think I might return it.

This product does not display standard HD channels well

TV works great with 4K downloads, 4K DVD's, Blu-ray DVD's, and Standard DVD's.
It does not upscale cable TV HD channels very well. They are equal to or less than what you see on your HD 1920X1080 TV.
The HDR function is great if the DVD you are watching was generated using HDR. If you watch a standard HD TV channel using HDR, the color is not accurate and does not look very good.
I could not connect my Cable TV coaxial cable to my AV Receiver and then back to the TV because the TV would shut-off after 30 minutes. I now have the Cable TV coaxial cable plugged directly into the Samsung TV box. I now run a digital optical cable from the Samsung TV box to the AV Receiver to get the high quality sound.
Using the work-arounds, the TV has great color, wonderful contrast and high resolution when using 4K, Blu-ray, or standard DVD's, plus 4K downloads from Netflix
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display
I would recommend this to a friend!
