[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge is beautiful and have gotten many compliments. Food is always kept fresh and no flash freezes in the freezer which indicates it is able to maintain the desired temperature. Water filter is easy to change without having to turn off the central valve. The only issue is a light fixturen went out which caused the chain of lights connected to it to also not work. We were within the warranty so kitchenaid sent someone within a few days and got it fixed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great looking fridge, annoying issue with fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took a long time to get (almost 8 months from order date to arrival) but the fridge looks great and has very useable interior space. So far we love it.
The only issue so far, and this will likely be an ongoing annoyance for the life of the fridge if I can't find a solution, is the fit of the upper cover. For some reason they designed the bottom trim on the upper cover to be wider than the doors of the fridge (see second picture). As a result, you cannot open the doors on the adjacent cabinet without the door hitting that trim (see third picture). The cover pushes out of the way as you open the cabinet, but I strongly expect that eventually something is going to break or at the very least the finish is going to wear off the cabinet door. The opening between the cabinets is to spec according to the KitchenAid installation guide and I have used up all of the adjustment in the cabinet hinges to move the cabinet doors away from the fridge. The doors still hit when they are opened. When you open the cabinet door on one side of the fridge this upper cover is pushed away by the cabinet door so the door will open but there is no way we can open the cabinet doors on both sides of the fridge at the same time - the trim piece gets jammed between the two doors so one or both cannot fully open. There is no reason I can see for this trim piece to be as wide as it is. I'd rate this product higher if not for this issue, which is a shame since the fix would be so simple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this fridge 5 years ago to fit our galley kitchen- loved the size (48 inch), and the fact that it was counter depth opens up the kitchen.
We just sold that home and purchased our forever home and just finished installing our 2nd Kitchenaid fridge. Once you’ve had one, it’s really hard to go back to the standard size.

bought this refrigerator in 2019 , got delivered 30 months later !!!! and doesn't work .!! all lights come on but no cooling .

Impressive looks, great use of space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s the cornerstone of our kitchen, keeping a commanding lookout over the rest of the room. Very spacious, with the extra height and everything is easy to see, thanks to the excellent lighting. One great feature is it allows you to use water dispenser (on freezer door) while refrigerator door is open.

Do not order this fridge (it will never come)

I have ordered Kitchenaid built in fridge almost 2 years ago for my new house to match all my kitchenaid appliances. The vendor blames kitchanaid, kitchenaid will not respond to me. They finally filled out an escalation ticket and no one even could take the time to return my call. Enough is enough they had no problem taking (full payment) for this fridge. Family of five and no fridge, the space was specifically made for this kitchenaid fridge, I am so stuck and no help insight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased fridge in 2018. Within one year of manufacturer’s warranty the freezer started to have an ice build up. The solution works but is an ugly fix. Two years later the lights went out in the freezer and it was no longer under warranty. Now, four years later, water line to water dispenser in the door started leaking. For the price paid for this unit it is not a great value.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
