Not Compatible with iPhones

Did not realize this device, specifically the ANT+ technology is not compatible with iPhones, only works with androids. This was a gift so it was even more disappointing. Was able to return it and purchased (albeit more expensively) a Garmin watch instead. Unfortunately not one that tracks run cadence, as I had hoped and this chest strap does, as those were well out of my price range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
