Because I was in dire need of a new monitor, I studied a recent HP online sales ad and immediately settled on their HP 27er 27-inch display model. The lowered price was appealing at first glance for the dimension I required. My order arrived rapidly as advertised, set up was a breeze, and I have been a happy customer with an excellent, crisp, new viewing experience. Definitely pleased.!

Purchased 2 of the same monitors, expecting the monitor bezels and frames to align when placed next to each other on a level surface. Can't think of any other reasons there is about 1/8" in height difference between two of the same monitors. If only a decent amount of QC went into the one thing that is supporting the monitor (i.e., the stand), I wouldn't be considering sending these back at time when I need them most. Call it perfectionism, but this issue for me is prominent, given the monitors' size and the fact that they are brand new.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Monitor

Excellent monitor for the money. It replaced an old Gateway monitor that was much smaller than this HP 27.
I use this monitor for normal use along with working from home when not in the office. It was easy to put together and is very light weight and slim.
Some customers state that it moves easily but once again, the monitor is light weight so the monitor will move slightly as you are typing. If you have a sturdy desk, you probably will not have that issue.
The plug ins are on the back side of the monitor, which is ok for me but others state it is a pain to hook up cords. Not a concern of mine. I would recommend this product to anyone.

This monitor is a perfect fit between a modest sized monitor and a large monitor. It's size has really allowed me to work on multiple documents at the same time and have them at good size.
The small frame around the screen really allows the screen to look larger than it really is.
In summary, I love this monitor.
