I bought this monitor to match the rest of my home office setup. I use almost all Mac products for work, so I wanted something to match the aesthetic without costing the same as my monthly mortgage. This monitor exceeds all expectations! I love the narrow edge, silver accents and most of all how thin it is! From the side it looks about the same width as my Macbook Pro, which works seamlessly with this monitor. Overall, I think this is a great quality monitor perfect for a minimalist style home office.
I considered mounting this monitor at some point to match my gaming desk setup, but I can't because it's not VESA compatible. I'm not upset about this because the stand takes up so little desk space as is and I wasn't specifically looking for a mountable monitor when I purchased it. If you do plan to mount your monitor, this isn't for you. I would not recommend it for gaming due to is and not being able to adjust angles.

- Great resolution, expected if not exceeded for this price point
- 2 HDMI ports
- Easy setup
- Quick shipping (~3 business days) **It did ship in the HP monitor box, so anyone walking by could see my purchase. Be sure to monitor (pun intended) your tracking notifications so you bring it inside ASAP.

I bought this on line and it arrive last week. The only button that works is the power button. Since it came with no instructions. There are no indications of a plus or minus button. It's big and bright as all get out but, there is no way to control the brightness. The main menu pops up but, you can't access it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
