I have had this monitor about 2 weeks and use it as a second monitor for a laptop. I have been thru the setup numerous times and I just don’t find the text sharp and crisp, almost seems out of focus. I could be doing something incorrectly will continue to adjust.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have two of the monitors and I use them for Digital Audio Workstation, recording music. I knocked one on the floor, the monitor landed on the corner cracking the screen. Speaking to HP, they started that repair is not cost effective. So I purchased a new unit. I do not do video gaming or require high levels of graphic refresh so I can not comment on how the unit works under high load use. However, this unit works and looks great for my use.
Cons: More RAM, Smoother Mouse Pad
Pros: Lightweight
