First of all let me say that I am not a videophile but am still fairly particular about picture quality. This is my first Philips product and I have been pleasantly surprised with the overall quality. With an excellent HD feed this TV delivers an excellent picture. Even some SD feeds look great. Out of the box I was not that pleased with the picture, but after spending some time adjusting the settings (and there are many!), I finally got it right. I love having direct access to Netflix with the NetTV feature and the fact that software updates occur automatically over the direct connection to the internet. I also like having the capability to project video wirelessly from my laptop to the Philips with the WiFi Media Connect feature. This feature works as advertised. Having 3 HDMI inputs is a definite advantage. I have an external cable tuner, a Roku, and a Blu-ray player all connected with optimal video quality. The provided remote is very intuitive to use and works well.
Very easy to use and set up. Interfaces well with cable and remotes. Great picture.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A fine Flat screen . Don't expect media connect . DOES NOT WORK!!

Near perfect flat screen . Delivers on pic. Major flaw is media connect. Or I should say lack of. As long as you don't need Media connect , you can't go wrong . We planned a big event with family across the globe and i counted on Philips as I have always did, and sad to say , dropped the ball . Failure to work ruined the evening .

We had ours for less than a year when it stopped working altogether. It was replaced under warranty, then the replacement one failed in less than a year. Get it right the first time and people will want to buy again and/or recommend it to their friends and family.

I found the price point to be spectacular -I used to install Uverse and I have used Philips in the past - the combination of the the Uverse box and the Philips screen make for an awesome combination
