Sound issues

We have had our TV for 6 years. We bought it at Costco. The sound is not very good. My sister in Holland has a Philips TV with sound issues too. I would not buy a Philips again.
Cons: sound issues

Mine is now 8 year old in perfect working order

So I bought this tv about 8 years ago now, it's used almost everyday and has had zero issues, the old girl is still going strong. Sounds good,looks good. If it ever dies I will definitely be buying a Phillips again. No bull here this is a legit review
Pros: 8 years old without a single issue, perfect for gaming, great for tv and movies, cant kill the thing lol
Cons: nothing negative to say about it

My television started to black out when switching between input channels, I'm told by contact support that it is likely the input board nearing it's life.
Cons: should not happen after only year owning this tv

Great product and longevity

I didn't know it at the time in 2012 when I bought this, but this is a great tv and it would still be kicking in June 2025! I've been running an HDMI cable from my gaming PC and the picture is perfect. My only qualms with it nowadays is that it can't handle streaming services from a chromecast dongle anymore. That and the corner edge lighting is bad with new format 21:9 movies and the black bars. Otherwise I wouldn't be bothering to upgrade today. Thanks Phillips for a wonderful 13 years!
