Good customer support

We were having trouble with the volume on CBS only. After talking with the support people, they said as the TV was in warranty we could either have a different TV or have a repair person coming to our house. We chose the different TV. Within a week Phillips had sent us a different TV and paid for the shipping of ours back to them. How much better could they be?
Pros: good price
Cons: had a problem with the volume

this television is average compared to most TVs there is no clock and the EPG does not work very well. most of the features are blocked.
Pros: average picture
Cons: no clock epg does not tell you much, no upgrade to features

Great TV

I purchased the Philips 40FPL4707 quite some time ago. The picture quality is excellent and audio is excellent. I have owned several makes of electronic equipment in the past years and I have always returned to Philips TV. I will try a 4K tv next when the price comes down. I have a 20x30 foot living room and find the 40" a great size. I may try a slightly larger screen as I am getting a little older.
