Great value for the price!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time to own a gas dryer and I was worried at first but this dryer works really great. It's not as quiet as my previous dryer but it's not annoying either. drys my clothes efficiently and that's what I was looking for. Would highly recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted a dryer that does the basics...dries clothes and does it well. We didn't need or want a dryer with a lot of bells and whistles, that in the end we would never use. I think the only thing we would have liked is that the door opened down and in a level position as that is nice to set the clothes on as you remove them from the dryer.

I’ve only had this dryer for two months but am impressed. Great features: Large capacity, drys thoroughly without static cling, quiet running at an affordable price.
My only concern, and I’d like a response from Whirlpool, is about the dial setting knob. Can I turn the knob both clockwise AND counter clockwise without damaging the internal ratchets on the knob? This is my only knock on this product. This setting knob seems old fashioned and concerns me as regards it’s longevity.

AutoDry Doesn't Work

We bought this new. So far, 3 of 3 loads I have put on AutoDry have been wet when the cycle completes. The only way to dry the laundry is with the timed section. It works great if you use that. But advertising and energy preferred mode and AutoDry is not cool. Neither dry my clothes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our gas dryer two months ago and love it. We previously an electric dryer that just died one day. I was hesitant about the switch to gas, but my husband had heard good things about it so we decided to try it. We are so glad we did. It dries in half the time and I like that I can clearly adjust the temperature setting. Its simple effective design makes it easy for my 8 year-old to help with laundry too. : )
