Nice sounds for my 'puter

Just used this for a short while to test it before taking it with me overseas to use with my computer. Good sound from a small package and I got it at a super price! I can only jam so much in my luggage and this will give me good sounds without taking up much space. I gave this a 5 star even tho I really gave it a thorough sound test. I was looking for something small/low priced/good sounding. I may re-review at a later date

Superior sound in a little package

I bought this a few weeks ago and am very satisfied. It's got great mid and highs, and decent bass for a standalone set without a sub. Most of the negative feedback has come in about the auto-shutdown and subsequent hitch when resuming sound, but I never find myself in a scenario where I leave the speakers on and go away for a period of time. For me, it's pretty simple - turn on the speakers when I need sound - and for that use case, this little set proves more than worthy without breaking the budget.

Auto turn off feature = FAIL

The over-engineered auto shut off feature is terrible. I keep missing audio notifications from Skype or other messaging services. Really a terrible idea to have on such a product...very irritating and makes my blood boil.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
