Stanby mode sucks

I like the design and it's easy to set up but it goes to standby mode too fast with in seconds of no audio and even worse it takes long to start giving audio and most times it just stops giving audio and I need to turn it off and back on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our product. If you have the volume on the JEMBE cranked up, and the volume on your source device set really low, it is very possible that the JEMBE is not seeing enough of an audio signal to know to stay on. Please try turning the volume on the JEMBE down a bit, and then crank up the volume on your source device to get to the level you desire. This will send a signal to the JEMBE and it should stay on without any issues.

Great Bookshelf Speakers

These JBL bookshelf speakers are awesome. I highly recommend them for any application. I happen to use them when I am at home and am watching movies on my laptop. Their sound is amazing and I love how the power down to save battery life expectancy.

Nice sounding speakers

These speakers are great! I liked them so much- I bought another set.
They look nice too......I used these in my car for awhile- (used a dc converter to
plug them in and then plugged in my mp3 player--my stereo had died)
and they cranked out pretty good.

This is perfect from streaming music from my ipad and/or phone. Nice deep sound and volume control. Would definitely recommend.

its has great sound which jbl is known for and beside price is why i purchased them. 3 rating is because i thought that the cord setup and hookup was short and configured terrible.
