Too easily smudged

With the shiny silver the clear shows way fingerprints and smudges way too easy, did not like that :(

I've had the case a couple of weeks, fits great and looks great but makes the buttons very hard to use. Normally otter makes a great product but as far as function goes this one sucks.

I love the styling and size of this cover however the power and volume buttons are very hard to use for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Unless you push them at just the right angle and a good deal of pressure they won't work. Not recommended for those with arthritis or other hand mobility issues.

Way too slippery, buttons hard to press

Bought this case to replace a previous S7edge case I had in hopes that this would provide better protection around the camera. It actually doesn't. The cut out area for the camera is much bigger than expected. I would think that they'd want the edge of the cut out right up on the camera.
Regarding the slippery comment. This case feels like it's going to slide out of my hands at any moment. I don't know what they put on the clear section but holding it as you normally would hold a phone (fingers on the back, etc) it feels completely unsecured and could drop very easily. It's pretty sad considering the $10 case I bought from a competitor feels 100 times more secure in my hand.
Now the button issue. It's virtually impossible to accidentally turn this phone on, or adjust your ringer, because it's almost impossible to do that even when you want to. You have to press much harder than one would expect in order to access the three side buttons.
I'll give this case a fair chance and some real world experience but I'm already afraid this is the wrong case for us.
And, as others have mentioned, the amount of finger prints that show up on this is insane.

It has protected my phone from a light fall but as others have mentioned some lint and fuzz can get caught in the edges easily. I don't see this as a problem because compressed air cans are cheap and clean the lint out easily. The back surface is somewhat slicker and will slide out of my lap if I'm wearing gym shorts but if you're aware of this beforehand then I don't think it will cause you much trouble. I personally prefer it to lifeproof cases I've had in the past, but to each his own. Have a great freaking day.

Disappointed with my purchase for my Galaxy S7 Edge. The buttons on the Otter Symmetry are very stiff and this makes it very dufficult to turn on my phone or adjust the volume. My last 3 cases for prior phones were made by Otter and I was generally satisfied with my other Otter products.

Case not functional

There are a few problems i have experienced with this case. First one i purchased cracked within few weeks. I felt I had gotten a bad apple. I ordered a replacement and at first was happy to receive it until I tried to use volume buttons and power button on my phone. I press hard on the buttons through the case and buttons are too hard to push in to use my phones buttons. I have to take my phone out of the case to cut off phone or turn volume keys up or down. That is not good!
