It is sleep and quiet. Performance is pretty nice as well. I used to have my smoke alarm off go off while using an old range hood from Samsung.

bulbs blow quick and aren't available....

I built a home the developer had this as the appliance package, so I have it. looks great, the bulbs blew out and its literally been 2 years and a month since owning. I can't find the parts to replace anywhere, the phone service is a joke, the live chat circles you back to a service number that doesn't get answered. super disappointing. Have parts available especially when you KNOW bulbs don't last forever
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
