I am on my second under cabinet toaster that is 20 years old! It still works great but it looks very used. I was checking out a new one but reading the reviews I think I will stick with my old one. And it was a pain for my husband to install it. He had to contact B & D and they sent him another bracket which really wasn’t much better. But he worked out something. So don’t think he’d be happy trying to install a new one with same difficulty just for the look of a new one! Learned my lesson. Don’t replace an oldie with a newbie when the old appliance still works. Replaced a perfectly working dish washer (20 yrs old) with a new one that is quiet but takes 3 hours to wash dishes! Miss my old one! And replaced an old dryer with a new one that has an annoying buzzer that buzzes twice! Lesson learned: older is better! :-)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Need space saver

Please Bring it Back. I need counter space and the undercabinet mount has worked great for me since 2015. My BLACK+DECKER Under-The-Cabinet SpaceMaker Toaster Oven is still working but needs to be replaced.

Works Great But Installation Should Be Easier

Bought toaster oven to replace similar design bought 20+ years ago. That one was much easier to install. The old model just slid into the support hood. This model needs the back to be hooked onto 2 supports first and then the front pushed up and back to catch onto 2 flimsy metal hooks. On the first try the hooks bent and had to be straightened (very poor/cheap design). Hope it does not fall down. Also the spacers just slip onto the screws and fall off during installation. I used the more friendly ones from the old toaster that screwed on and stayed in place. Why not supply the ones you used to use?
Once installed the new oven seems to work well and has more space than the old model. I just hope that it lasts as long, but that us probably fantasy in this 'throw away' society.

I can't find a new spacemaker toaster oven

We just recently moved to a new house. When selling old house, I happily found that I could but a new Spacemaker Toaster oven, so we left the old one with the old house. Now I can't find the oven anywhere/ Are you making more?

Long Lasting

We have enjoyed using this toaster oven over the last 30 years. Just purchased our 3rd one in 30 yrs so they last about 14 to 15 years if you take care of them. We use it almost everyday. I do agree that the first one they made was of a simpler design and may have been easier to use for some.

Good countertop toaster

Toaster itself is fine. But don't fooled by thinking it'll mount under a cabinet. The most poorly designed, shoddy built under cabinet bracket ever conceived. It's clear from reading other reviews the under cabinet mounting of this product is a farce. It's also extremely obvious that B&D doesn't care enough to remedy the matter with either a retro fit bracket or a completely new design that will work. This toaster has fallen so many times over the past two years I've lost count. It's going to end up being sacrificed in a rage room somewhere with a baseball bat. I'm done with B&D products and just can't recommend anyone buy them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great toaster oven

In the three years that we’ve owned this toaster oven we never had an issue with it. We have a very small kitchen.
Or can anyone tell me where we can find the heating bulbs? We would like to replace them.
