[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rice cooker is a nice size. it makes 10 cups of fully cooked rice. A capacity of 5 cups of dry rice. The rice cooker includes a steamer basket, spatula, and rice measuring cup. The cooking pot is removable for easy cleaning. It's also a darker coated steel so it may hold in the heat more. The lid is glass with a vent hole. The handle is a easy to hold knob. The rice cooker offers a cook and warm button. Both have indicator lights as well. The steamer basket fits into the cooking pot well. It offrs large holds for easy steaming of veggies or other foods. The rice cooker also has carrying handles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great item. Pretty easy to use and clean. Make sure to folllow some directions on the internet for the amount of water. The booklet was a bit hard to understand. Otherwise a great product and my rice turned out perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the Proctor 10 cup rice cooker/steamer. It is so easy to clean and most of the components are dishwasher safe. The automatic warm features makes it possible to put your food in before you go to work and have it cooked perfectly when you get home. While you can fit 5 cups of uncooked rice in the cooker it is compact and does not take a huge amount of storage space.

Ideal for Individuals Living or Small Households

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn't the most technologically equipped rice cooker in the market but it does what it claims and gets the job done. The size of the rice cooker is sufficient for a small household and ideal for people living by themselves. It's not made of the best or most quality of materials but the rice cooker is lightweight and portable and comes with what you need to make rice conveniently. This includes the rice cooker, the pot, a glass lid, a rice scooper, a measuring cup, and a steamer basket attachment.
The rice it prepares isn't the most consistent and it seems the heating is not the most even, so there are some areas of the rice that is more cooked than the rest. However, I'm not too picky when it comes to perfect quality rice as I mostly use it as a medium for the main dishes. The power cord isn't that long so you will need to situate the rice cooker close to an outlet. I'm also not thrilled that the included steamer basket is made of plastic and wish it was made of a safer material made for high heat. However, that detail does not make the product a deal breaker for me as the main and most important function for me is that the rice cooker makes rice easily at the swipe of the switch. Overall, this is good for college students and for those temporarily living on their own but still want to eat rice regularly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing cooked my rice wonderfully. I love the way the pot is non-stick. I cooked brown rice, so I don't know if the cooker is supposed to cook them the same as white rice, but I did have to watch the rice and make sure it didn't burn. The rice ended up cooked to perfection before the cooker stopped cooking by itself. I still prefer to use this instead of cooking on the stove.
