It cooks the rice to perfection, quickly and perfectly, it's not dry or watery. You can make up to six cups at a time, which is a lot in terms of rice. It automatically sets itself to the warm setting when it's done. Very easy to clean and compact enough to store virtually anywhere in your kitchen. Made with high quality materials. Sleek and stylish design, that isn't an eyesore on your countertop.
I've never been able to cook rice. It was always watery and a huge hassle for me. Thanks to this rice cooker, I am making rice more often for my family and they love it!

I have been cooking rice on the stove forever and the starch would always come out of the saucepan lid and makes a huge mess every time, we recently moved out into a new house and our new stove top is one of the hardest to clean and i was avoiding cooking rice as possible, luckily for me i got this tool to save my days! We are a small family of 3 and it is just the perfect size! So simple instructions and super easy to use and clean and it makes the most perfect white rice ever! I cannot be happier or more grateful to this simple kitchen device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never have I ever used a rice cooker before. This rice cooker is a life saver. I don't have to worry about burning my rice anymore. I love it. All you do is out equal parts of rice to water, then turn it on and when it's done it will stop cooking the rice and keep it warm for you. It's such a life saver for me.

Easy to use, compact unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first rice cooker I’ve ever had. So far, I had a little bit of a learning curve, but enjoy using it. The first time I used it, I accidentally burned rice because I thought it wasn’t done and it needed more time. I was wrong. The next couple times, I used different items- quinoa, bulgar wheat and then steamed broccoli. All of those turned out great! The cooker is large enough for my family of 3, and doesn’t take up much counter/shelf space. I am a big fan of this compact machine.

Makes meal prepping a dream

It's so much easier than cooking rice on the stove as you can turn it to 'cook' and then once the rice is done cooking it switches to 'warm'. It makes meal prepping easy so you can focus on other things. This rice cooker also came with a steam basket. It will be nice to have the option to steam veggies in it, but for now it works great for cooking rice.

Rice is one of those foods that I can never get right and could definitely use some help making. Either it's too soft and mushy or still crunchy. The Proctor Silex Durable Rice Cooker has literally been a life saver in my kitchen. With this product I have been able to cook rice to perfection everytime. This rice cooker is durable and reliable. It can cook up to 5 cups of uncooked rice in the nonstick cooking pot. This rice cooker is easy to use and when your rice is done it will automatically stop cooking. I love that it has an automatic warmer to keep my rice hot and fresh after it's done. It includes useful tools such as a steam basket, rice paddle, and a measuring cup. The most incredible thing to me is that it not only cooks rice, but you can also steam vegetables and poultry, as well as cook food with the rice to make meals. This product has become so useful in my kitchen for so many meals. Plus I dont have to stress anymore about my rice being cooked right. After using the cooker, you hand wash it with soap and water, and dry. Anyone can use this rice cooker and it will make things a lot easier. I definitely would reccomend this product.

Fluffy Rice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooker has allowed me to make the fluffiest rice I've ever made at home. It's a really nice size. My old rice cooker took up too much space, but this has a much smaller footprint. It also cooks large serving sizes for its size.

Super easy to use and extremely convenient

It doesn't take much to cook a pot of rice on the stove top, but it's never come out as perfect as it did with this rice cooker. Also, you can just set it and forget it, while you work on the rest of your meal. I read you can also steam vegetables in it, which I haven't done but I would like to try it out. It seems like it's a great little appliance that is convenient and helps free up stove top space if you need it. I would recommend it to anyone especially college kids. I bet you could cook ramen easily in it too.
