I have very much enjoyed watching this TV. The color, sound and features are great.
It may be me, but the TV is a little complicated. I would like more thorugh and easy to read documentation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Severe Soap Opera effect, Noisy Glasses

This t.v. has a severe soap opera effect to the point that we are unable to watch it. Its a common problem with this model. If you google it there are a lot of others with this issue. The judder on this set is also a problem. It improves somewhat when you turn the "trumotion" off, but it's still distracting. As for the 3D, the picture is mediocre at best, when compared to the cinema 3D offered by LG. The active shutter glasses are absolute junk. We purchased 6 pairs of glasses (ag-s350) and they are all very noisy. Another common problem with this set. It sounds like we are watching a film from a projector because you can hear the shutter mechanism inside the glasses. The ambient light created by the television reflects off the backside of the glasses and makes the screen harder to see. Plasma t.v.'s are already on the dimmer side so this takes away from the movie experience when combined with the tinted glasses. The only way I see getting around this problem would be put some sort of black blinders on the side of the glasses(like torch cutting glasses) or paint the wall behind and the sides of you black. The stand design is also an issue. The way the front of the stand is angled toward you causes a reflection of the screen off the stand that distracts you from the picture. It's an attractive t.v. when it's powered off, but it's flaws come out the second you power it up.
Pros: looks when off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The video portion of the 60" plasma is versatile and easy to use. Being able to view the screen from a wide angle sure helps with a room or outdoor patio full of people.

I would recommend this TV to any and everyone. We did have to upgrade our stereo because it did not have a digital optical input. Other than that.....................LOVE IT!!
