Works great but needs instructions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I connected the cam plus and the phone didn't react at all. After digging a while on the internet I found out that you are supposed to completely update not only the cam plus manager but also the phone's software before using the cam plus. After doing so, it began to work as intended. It really makes taking pics and videos easier and more comfortable. I specially like the button for quick camera access. It's really nice to use but needs better instructions in its manual.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this add-on. It adds a nice weight, quick camera access, extra battery. I'm always taking pictures. This makes holding the phone easier, and the buttons make camera features more accessible. To be honest, I thought I would just attach this thing every once in awhile, but I'm finding that I always want it there.
What's stopping me is that it needs a phone case to accommodate it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just picked up this accessory on Saturday and I loved it as soon as I attached it to my G5 phone. Wish it was available in the Titan color for my phone but Silver looks fine. I think LG may have inadvertently got a secondary use out of this unit; I was on a long call, while it was attached, and it made a great hand grip especially with the padded textured surface. This attachment does add noticeable weight to the phone but I kinda like it. It's just great to get the traditional camera controls back. Especially like the partial press-down on the shutter button for focus. Some YouTube reviewers said it wasn't really ergonomically designed but I still feel it's a big improvement. The added battery power is also greatly appreciated. I went 48hrs without a charge! The zoom feature is nice but of course you still need to be mindful of digital zoom adding pixilation at some focal length. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Also considering the other attachments as they become available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery rarely actually charges the phone. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. The camera aspect works fine although the zoom wheel feels pretty cheap. I would give 4-5 stars if the battery aspect actually worked.

Two Modules Do Not Charge Phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the cam plus module about two weeks ago. I noticed that my battery would not charge and in fact the phone would get hot and not charge my phone.
I returned that module to the store and received a replacement. Within two hours, the module stopped working and will not charge my phone.
I have tried searching the internet about solutions to the problem and there is no way to get the phone to charge with any button combination or restart.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery doesn't charge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the cam plus almost a week ago, today it is not charging anymore. I left it plugged in to the fast charger overnight and the led light keeps blinking the moment I unplug it which according to the manual means it has 5% or less battery charge.
