We received this set as a gift for Christmas 2021. It replaces an earlier Cuisinart set. The one thing I notice about these knives is that they did not come sharpened to the same standard that we keep our existing knives at. Then, after sharpening, they just didn't cut as they should if they were really sharp knives. I waivered between assigning a 3 or 4 star grade, and opted for the 4, but this really should be 3 and a half.

Decent set for the price but is a littl on the lighter weight side. Block is attractive. The steak knives are disappointing as they have solid plastic handles, no metal strip or pins like the rest of the set. Overall an okay starter set. So far they are still sharp but sewm to lose their edge pretty quickly.
