[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Connected to MBP via thunderbolt. plug and play. USB on monitor connected to 1 USB 3 hub with external SSD drives and the other to 1 USB 2 hub with wacom tablet, keyboard, etc. No issues. minimal light bleed (very little at bottom two corners) and good viewing angles. Have not tried display port connection to test Freesync but thunderbolt refreshes at 60hz. No problems working with video. Overall very happy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For 12 hours a day I work in Audio, Photo and Video Editing staring at a screen all day. The studio where I work has a slightly older model of the 34'' ultra-wide (34UM95-P).
I fell in love with that display and decided that I would buy one for my home setup. So far this display has given me everything I expected from it. Sharp, great colors and the dual thunderbolt ports and extra USB ports are super helpful.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second LG monitor I purchased in the last month, as the first one didn't have the display port plug I decided on the 34UM88. Great decision to upgrade.
Pros: Style/Design, Performance

Such an awesome monitor. Spreadsheets and small text look great. I would not use anything less TBH. I had 1080p and letters/numbers were so pixelated.
I am going through the warranty repair service now because this is no longer in stock at Buydig.com. Hopefully, it is a quick turn around. They will be sending a box to me to perform the repair.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the monitor but the software is not loadable at startup . thus you get an annoying UAC(user account control) message every time you start it and if you are not logged in as your administrator, you have to supply credentials in addition to the annoying UAC pop-up. You should redesign the software to run in background so you only need to make setting adjustments to the running app.

Model not listed. I have the 34UB88-P

The monitor I have is not listed 34UB88-P. I bought this monitor because it looked like it had a lot of features I was looking for. But LG failed to give details on what version of HDCP the monitor supported. It just says HDCP Yes. That’s it. Don’t be so vague on your specifications. The manufacturer date of this thing is Sept 2018 how come no HDCP 2.2 support? So if you plan on playing 4K protected content. It’s not happening. Other than that it has a great picture.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works very well and am quite satisfied. Didn't come with lightening cable so had to purchase one separately to hook up to MacBook. USB ports are new type and therefore had to buy a separate port to attach to MacBook to sync phone and ipad Once all was set up, everything works well
