dont buy this if you want ice

DO NOT BUY THIS refrig if u want ice - I have to clear out the ice portion of this refrig/freezer at least 3-4x a week due to stuck/clogged portion of the ice maker. then I have ice/water all over the floor every time this practice occurs. Also I have to buy a bag of ice if more than 2 people come to visit. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to up date our kitchen, we bought all new appliances. I would have given this fridge 5 stars except the right door with door within the door does not stay open. Very annoying when loading the fridge. Finger prints are also new to deal with. Our kitchen looks very sleek and beautiful. So many features to this smart fridge.

I absolutely love this refrigerator! I am 75 years old and have had many in my lifetime but nothing as nice as this. My family laughs at me because lots of times when I am using it I say, "I love you!!" "You are bestest." Thanks, LG for making the greatest. I now own an LG stove, washer and dryer in addition to my recent love. All of them are very nice, and the only complaint I have is that water boiling for a long time on the back burner of the stove peeled the paint off a section nearest it. Other than that, it works just fine. Very sincerely, Nan B. McComber

Great design but compressor failed after 22 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look and functionality of this fridge. Compressor failed after 22 months of service. LG warranty is for only one year. No LG support after one year. Ice maker produces very small amount of ice.

I have wanted a French door with a door in the door refrigerator for a couple years. When we finally re-did our kitchen, we bought new appliances and we bought this refrigerator. WE LOVE IT! There is so much room, I haven't been able to fill it yet. We love the middle drawer for our bread, lunch meat and such and it keeps the bread fresh and soft. The bottom freezer is great also. We just can't say enough good things about this refrigerator and would recommend it. In fact, one of my friends saw it and went out and bought the same one and she loves it also!

Awesome Refrigerator

This refrigerator has it all; style, performance, space, and functionality. The slim in-door ice maker really allows for extra space in the shelving area. Its one drawback may be a smaller ice capacity due to this feature. Everything else has been great so far. Love the door-in-door feature and fourth drawer that has a customizable temperature zone. Well worth it!
