I bought this in December and still am having difficulty using it. You cannot put a lot of hair in it. In fact only a few strands will actually work but curls are not really substantial and fall out. I have medium length hair in fact just under chin so the weight isn’t a factor. I purchased on QVC and they made it look so easy. Hard to get curls going inward or outward. Stick with a traditional curling iron, it’s much better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was able to use it twice for my daughters hair.
The third time it no longer worked. It would only beep. No curling, no heating. Very disappointed.
