Excellent results. Our carpet is very old and needs to be replaced. Recent water damage did not help. In one pass the areas cleaned look about as new as they can considering carpet age. Definitely removed all water stains and spotting due to several rescues that also call this house their home. This product will become a regular part of our carpet cleaning regime.

Bissell oxy boost carpet cleaning formula

I used this in addition to my bissell carpet cleaning formula to clean all of my carpets with my bissell cleaner. It did a good job overall cleaning the carpets. I also used it in my bissell spot cleaner on new carpeting that had either grease or grass stain on it. Not sure which, maybe both. It did not remove all of that stain.

My carpet is 17 years old with a lot of wear. My Bissell with Deep Fiber Cleaning solution has done a pretty good job, but some stains were embedded. This product has gotten these stains out and almost seemed to revitalize the carpet fiber. Great product - Don't ever stop making it!!!!!!

Disappointing

I was really excited to try this bottle of oxyboost. I had the perfect test in mind for it. My teenage daughter's room after she went off to college. I got her room all clean, and repainted, started to mix my cleaning solution and was dismayed to see that i had to add this boost in addition to regular carpet shampoo. I was still willing to try as she had some really tough stains on her carpet. I got the water as hot as it would go, mixed it according to directions, and started on her carpet. The only stain it got out was the cat puke i found under her dresser when i moved it, something i am sure just the regular pet shampoo i was using could do. Would not recommend wasting your money on this product

7 Applications (entire bottle) couldn't remove stain

My berber carpet had average traffic discoloration from age. I deep cleaned the entire carpet using a brand new Proheat 2x Revolution Pet Upright. There was one 2'x2' area where a computer chair's wheels had made a darker stain ring in the carpet. I literally went over the area 7 days in a row, each time with a new tank of hot water, cleaning solution, and boost additive. A very expensive cleaning project to remove a 2'x2' discoloration. Unsuccessfully I might add, as neither the solution nor the boost are cheap. Each time I went over the area several times, emptying the entire tank over a 10 minute period and spending about 60 minutes each time moving at a sloths pace extracting every drop of water back out of the carpet. No luck at all. But I have to say.... Thanks to the Febreeze scented solution I used, my place smells amazing!!
