Not very useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Braun precision trimmer for over a week now and really don't see myself using it again. First off, a little about myself. I have a short beard and been using an old multi beard hand held trimmer for over a decade. The battery never seemed to last so I was excited to get the precision trimmer from Braun to test out for free. The unit itself is light and very easy to hold. It does trim my side burns and neck hair very well but that's about it. I like my beard short and the two attachments did not get close enough. I thought I would test the trimming power by trimming my beard into a goatee. The precision trimmer was not powerful enough to accomplish this without taking an hour an raw face. The unit is pretty loud but you probably will get use to it over time. Overall it's a good little unit for shaping facial hair but not very useful for day to day trimming.

Ok for Travel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it's a decent travel trimmer. I typically use a rechargeable Phillip's Norelco clipper style trimmer for my facial hair. However, I found that this tool was an acceptable alternative for when I'm traveling. The reason why I would not use this on a daily basis would be due to the small clipper size and it just doesn't have enough power to tackle large areas of the beard in a decent time frame.
I have tried other products that are similar to this, IE the "As Seen on TV" type products, and the Braun trimmer does outperform them in terms of quality. I also liked that two trimmer combs were included, other products like this usually only include one. The stand was a nice touch if you plan on keeping it on the bathroom counter. The trimmer has a great feel to it and doesn't seem to be cheaply made, I expect this product to last a good while. Cleaning the blades can be easily done with an old toothbrush; however, it would have been nice if Braun included a cleaning brush in the package.

Good, not great, tool for "man-scaping."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity from Braun to review this precision trimmer for free. I was really excited because I've used Braun shavers in the past and always experienced high quality shaves from their products. Compared to the high quality shaves that their electric shavers delivers, I felt like this precision trimmer fell a bit short. The trimmer came with a battery, a cap and two different sized guide combs. The best feature about this precision trimmer is it's size. It's very lightweight, portable and about the size of a Sharpie. This is really well suited for travelling vs. everyday use. The two different sized guide combs are really too long for me, since I prefer a well-trimmed beard. However, I use the lowest guide to trim down my eyebrows. When edging up my beard lines, it took me multiple passes to get the area trimmed down; didn't feel like it was super sharp. If you have thick hair or intend to shave a large area, I do not recommend this product. As far as precision trimming, it does a good, not great, job.

Quick Little Pocket Trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Braun to review. I think right off the bat I will say that it is great for traveling. This little guy will fit in any bag. It is a tiny trimmer with a over so you don't have to worry about the head getting damaged.
For a small package it works pretty well with light trimming. I used it mostly for edging my beard and it did a good job.
With that being said, the trimmer overall feels very cheap and toyish... A bit on the delicate side. It takes one battery. The compartment opens up and battery fits in fine. I found that the two guards that it came with were useless for me. The sizes are almost too particular. No adjusting. It's either they work or they won't and for me it was the latter.
My biggest issue was that there has been a few times where the trimmer would not turn on when using the power button. On off on off.. nothing. I would have to remove the actual head part of the trimmer and put back on and then it would turn on.
Overall I would suggest this item for someone on the go that just needs a very quick and light trim around the edges. Durability is yet to be determined.

Its very simple to use as well as change the guards for different cut lengths. Small and lightweight, great for travel. Taking it with me this week for a business trip, so I can keep my great groomed beard and look my best. Which is vital in todays professional world!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] let me start off by saying i really like this trimmer , Braun sent me to try it out for FREE is a pocket-sized trimmer comes with two different length combs that just push on, as well as a protective cap that you can use to pretect the blades, a stand which is perfect look on ur bathroom shelf and a duracell AAA battery. its very light and slim design makes it much easier for precision trimming, ive used it for my beard , mustache , and also eye brows .before i had this shaver i used to use the regular disposible shaver on my face now i use this I really like this quality product and fully recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a full beard that I keep well maintained. I received this Braun Precision Trimmer PT5010 for free from Braun to test out. Some of the typical complaints of battery powered trimmers is that performance is only as good as the health of the batteries. Even with a fresh set of AAAs this trimmer lacks the ability to trim even just one day stubble. I have resorted to throwing my trusty 2 blade disposable back into my travel bag and this trimmer into the drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer was sent to be by Braun to test out. It runs on one AAA battery that it comes with. It says it has about 120 minutes of trim time, I have actually shaved with this a few times and it is still as powerful as if it has a fresh battery. It also comes with 2 trimming combs so you can trim some length instead of to the skin. Finally in the package was a blade cover and it snaps on easily and protects the blade from hitting anything if you decide to place it in a drawer instead of on the counter in its included stand. As for the power it emits when cutting, WOW, it cut the hair easily and smoothly. I have a larger electric shaver that i normally use but this trimmer cut closer and easier than the bigger one. It will also trim around your neck to get the areas between haircuts.
