[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun beard trimmer PT5010 that I received from Braun themselves is awesome. Before receiving the Braun PT5010 beard trimmer, I wondered how it was going to work and how well it would work. After using it I am highly impressed. Its very precise and on point and works very well. A very clean trim everytime. It is a very well maintainable trimmer and very simple to clean up. With the two different attatchments that comes with it, it makes it even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend the Braun Beard Trimmer PT5010 to anyone looking for precision, a very reliable trimmer, and a simple trim everytime.

I really appreciate that it's battery powered, so there's no need to plug it in or wait for it to charge.
I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a powerful, portable precision trimmer that won't pull your hair.

Braun not for thick beards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun precision trimmer PT5010 looks handsome. Nice packaging and presentation. It takes a single aa battery which initially I thought, " this will be great for travel". I have dark hair and my beard is very thick. It does not work that great with the guards in place. I would never be able to use this on my entire beard as you have to go so slow it's frustrating. For touch up around my lips and even for eyebrows it was ok. No guards in place is the only way I can Tolerate the trimmer. All in all its a perfect stocking stuffer that you say omg thank you so much then after using it once decide to stick with your rechargeable beard trimmer. In the end I would only use this for my eye brows and maybe nose hair. It is definitely not strong enough for beards.

Just what I needed, I use this every time I shave, I have a beard so it is perfect for trimming it and get a nice clean look, I have been using it for almost a week and I really like it, it gets the job done in less time than a regular trimmer, I also use it for my ears and my nose hair it's really good.

Great Precision Trimmer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun Precision Trimmer is a very portable device that allows me to trim my facial hair on the go. My old rechargeable trimming machine was taking to much space in my toiletry bag. This is a very lightweight precision trimmer that uses only one AAA battery. The device I received from Braun comes with two different trimming combs, a protective cap, and a stand. It is perfect to use at home and while away for trimming your eyebrows, sideburns, and the beard line. I would not recommend it for heavy trimming, especially for those of you who have a thick hair. This product, as the name says it, is for precision trimming and it does a great job for that. I found it very easy to trim my sideburns using the trimming combs and adjust the sideburn line using it without a comb. Overall it is a great product and I highly recommend it!

Does not work as well with thick beards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You have to go really slow and took forever to trim my whole beard. I took a break halfway. Then when I went to turn it back on it would not turn on. When I took the clips off to shape my beard. It cut really well. I would recommend this product to people that don't have thick beards.

Not so sharp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Given that I have to shave every few days, I rely on a product that can trim my beard, mustache, and sideburns, while also cutting off the hairs that grow on my neck. Normally I use clippers to take care of the job, but I was open to see if another product would do the job or even better.
Upon opening the product, it continuously reminded me of a toothbrush due to its design. It packs some power although only being run from a single AAA battery which was included. I didn't use the combs as the trim job that I was doing that morning didn't require them, but I'm sure the power output from the trimmer would sufficiently cut through. I tend to get a lot of facial hair so the size of the trimmer caused the job I normally take trimming my hair to take longer than usual. The blades aren't as sharp as described, but they can make a definitive line around the beard.
I also used the bare blade to do some touch up work on my wife's eyebrows. I felt that they were more suitable for smaller jobs like that. My wife was pleasantly surprised with the result.

The trimmer also comes with a stand that's great for it's purpose. However, storage for the comb tools are left without a storage mechanism beyond the packaging that the whole system comes with making those tools easy to lose as they are relatively small.
