Not for coarse hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get to try this product and when it arrives I couldn't wait to try it! I have thick coarse hair and I have to shave often to keep my legs smooth. When I got the Silk-epil I had one days worth of hair growth on my legs. It has a slower setting for comfort and a faster setting for efficiency. I tried both settings. It stings a little bit at first but you get used to it quick. I had to use it on the same spot several times before it would get all the hair off. My boyfriend has fine thin hair and he tried it on his arm and the hair came right off on the first try. I think it's a good product for someone with fine hair but for someone like me with thick hair I wouldn't recommend much.

My Braun Silk Epil experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so this is my second epilator and honestly it's more painful than I remember. Cute, stylish, portable, easy to clean and keep up. Most importantly: results! I used my Braun epi on my face, and leg area and these were my results... Now I don't have a low tolerance for pain or anything so was oddly able to endure the pain more on my lip and chin area than I was on my leg/chin area. I'd rate the job done by my epilator about a 3 out 5. I wasn't able to remove all hairs as hoped, but had decent enough results that I was still able to go on without having to shave or Nair over.

A Hair Pulling Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get this product and I have to shave often and go thru razors very quickly so this seemed like a godsend. So the first time I tried it, it really hurt. Like a lot. I read the instructions carefully, which btw, were very confusing and took awhile to understand but anyways, I muddled through. Any who, I only got thru one leg before I couldn't take the pain anymore. Fast forward a week later and that one leg was still hairless, so I decided to try again. This time I went to Youtube for some tips (e.g. take a long hot shower beforehand, shave in short bursts etc) and the advice helped some. I was able to last longer and didn't hurt so much. However, it still take a long time to get the hair out and it's not always a clean shave, plus the loud buzzing noise gets irritating after awhile. However, two weeks in and except for some light barely noticeable stubble, my legs still look really good. I recommend if you have a high tolerance for pain, lots of hair and some time to kill this works. Not bad for a free product.

Beautiful Epilator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful. That is one of the first words I think of when I think of this product. It has tiny flecks of glitter in the handle and is very beautiful.
On another note, It is very effective and quite loud. It works out great on the hairs that have just grown in. I mean you can use it on londer hair but I warn you it is extremely painful. Removes hair effectively and keeps the hair off.

Smoother legs are worth the pain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I want to thank BzzAgent and Braun for making it possible for me to try this product(FOR FREE), before I went out and bought it. I have owned an Epilator in the past and I loved it, painful, yes, but the results were so much better than shaving every other day to keep my legs stubble/hair free. I myself have very dark, almost thick, body hair (little black "dots" everywhere "/) and it grows back pretty quickly; waxing was too messy, expensive and patchy at times. Epilating is definitely the way to go. This epilator has 40 tweezers so you can pluck a greater deal of hairs at a time...especially if you exfoliate beforehand, which will reduce the pain factor, making you a champ at it the more often you use it. The design is pretty, fits in your hand and comes with accessories for whatever the job may be. The only "bad" thing I'd say, is the battery time to me, seems a little short (maybe it's just me though) and the fact that you can only use it cordless (which is more convenient; true), and not while it's charging. So after a week of not shaving and epilating instead, my legs are smooth and those pesky little black dots that LOOK like stubble aren't gone BUT lighter and less noticeable like my under arms. And finally as for the price I'd say it's priced right for someone who can handle pain, wants longer lasting smooth skin..and lighter; depending on how dark your roots are and thinner, less noticeable hair/re-growth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I got this product, I really didn't know what to expect. This epilator has exceeded my expectations thus far. While on the painful, it really doesn't damper it effectiveness. The hair is pulled from the root so its a safe bet that the hair won't be back for a while. Its appearance is super cute and high end at the same time. It came with 2 head accessories, one with a built massager to soothe while epilating and a simple head for all areas. It came with a brush for easy cleaning but clogging isn't an issue, you could do legs, arms, pits and bikini area and still be good to go. My favorite feature was the LED light, it really helped when I did my bikini zone making it sure I got each hair and since its rechargeable there's no need for batteries! Overall, its definitely a must buy if you want to get rid of those pesky razors and upgrade.
