A lot of interchangeable attachments

I have very sensitive skin that breaks out in an unattractive rash every time I shave or wax, not to mention the cost of upkeep! I was a little hesitant to try an epilator because my skin is sensitive and I worried it might be painful. The Braun Silk Epil 7 has been amazing! It is user friendly with multiple adjustment caps to cater to all areas of the body. There is a light that comes on for every use to increase visibility. This epilator is contoured to fit all areas of the body. It is a breeze to clean and simply recharges! I have had better results with the Braun Silk Epil 7 than I ever imagined! I did have some mild redness the first time that I used the product, but it subsided after 1 day, and my skin is tolerating it well only after a few uses. I am not dealing with rashes or ingrown hairs anymore! The hair takes weeks to grow back which is way more effective than shaving or waxing! I will never pick up a razor or deal with waxing ever again! I couldn't be happier with this product. I use it all over my body and am amazed that it is almost pain free after a few uses. Thank you so much Braun and BzzAgent for introducing me to this fabulous product - I sold for life!!!

As smooth as it gets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This epilator comes with all the bells and whistles that you could ever want. It has a lot of different attachments and even works in the shower, no need to be tethered to an outlet. While it's not completely pain free, you do get used to the sensation and after a few uses, the pain isn't as bothersome. The Braun Silk epil 7 easily removed even the finest hairs. All in all, I would highly recommend this product.

The 1st Time I Used Braun Silk epil 7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, when I was selected to receive this item to use and give my opinion, I read other online reviews just to see what I was in for. The one response that seemed to be in every review was pain! Okay, I can deal with short term pain. I was more interested in the end result. So, I was game for this. With time between having to tend to my hairy legs, I'll take a little pain.
It arrived!!! You charge only for 1 hour. That was new to me. A FULL charge in one hour. It lasts about 40-45 minutes of use.
I started on my right leg. Now, I have to be honest. I have neuropathy in both feet, up to my ankles. That means no feeling up to my ankles. So, my lower legs would be less sensitive, but just around and maybe 1/2" above my ankle.
I was prepared to use it dry. When the green light was steady, it was ready. (It flashes when it's charging) I started at the bottom of my leg and I was so caught up in watching the tiny hairs sprinkle on to the white towel I put down, I didn't feel anything. Really, if I didn't see the hairs, I would have thought it wasn't on. Slow and steady......it was great. I felt when it became stinging, but bearable. I tried using my other hand to make the skin taut, to be flat and tight. Didn't help. Basically, yes, it did sting, but I could handle it. The best part was the smoothness of my legs. I have had pain worse than this ever got. It doesn't linger. In the booklet it gave the idea to use a body lotion after treatment. My legs didn't turn red or irritate, as others experienced. I had a very good experience, but I did use some lotion just to feel how smooth my legs were. Wow, it was like the best shave in the world. No cuts, no band aids needed. No stubble. Sleek and smooth.
Both legs are completely hair free. The truth now lies in how long between treatments. Does it make the new hair come in lighter? Not in color, but in amount. Will it be faster the second time around? Will it sting less? These are the answers that I'm looking for. I don't intend to use this anywhere but my legs, but you never know. I will surely be back with the update and answers to all of my questions.
I rated 4 stars out of 5. I hope that's not the final rating because, again, the end result will be how long between treatments. It could go to 5 stars if I don't need to do it again for awhile. We'll see. Stay tuned!!

Great epilator that can even be used in the shower!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun Silk épil 7 is great! It is quick to charge, and after charging, the cordless unit can even be used in the shower!! There are two settings - a lower one for sensitive areas and those new to epilating, and a higher setting for faster, one-pass results. It is relatively quiet and it very effectively removes hair! Your legs will be silky smooth!!
I did not experience much discomfort at all using the Silk épil 7- it felt more like light scratching and not really any pain. Since this was my first time using a Braun epilator, I chose the lower setting for my first session.
There is a VERY handy light on the unit which illuminates the epilator's path and keeps you moving along a straight line. I thought that I would have to go really slowly to minimize the amount of discomfort, but this epilator was so pain-free that I could pretty much move at a normal pace!
The Braun Silk épil 7 comes with the many attachments shown in my photo - an extra shaving head, 3 comfort caps (for different areas of the body), a cleaning brush, handy carrying bag, and charging cord. For easy cleaning - the shaving head detaches from the main unit.
Overall, I had fantastic results and smooth, silky skin afterwards!! This epilator was so much less painful than waxing and I expect the results to last just as long! Great epilator from a company long known for high quality products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have basically exclusively used epilators for the last 15 years so i defintely have experience with them and this is not my first one!
Pros:
1) I love all the attachments it comes with and I have used them all! I mostly keep on the standard one but I switch it around depending on where im using it.
2) cordless-- my previous devices I've always had to use while plugged in... Being able to use it wherever I like has been great.
3) battery life- I have never had an issue with the charge running out and it takes me a long time to epilator (prob 45 min - 1 hour). I usually charge it in thr morning if I think I'm going to use it that night but often forget and I've never had an issue with it dying on me... I've had it for about two months now.
4) hair removal - really grabs the hair from the roots (unlike other devices which more cut the hair). Therefore, hair regrowth takes some time and my skin feels smooth. The pain is standard- hurts more in places you would expect (bikini, upper thigh) and other places I barely feel (lower leg, armpit). The pain is the same as every other device I have ever used.
5) aesthetics- very pretty device and easy to hold
6) trimmer- my first epilator that comes with a trimmer which I use before I do bikini area.
7) wet/ dry - I actually haven't used this wet function but i like that I have the option.
Cons :
1) I find that I have to go over the same area sometimes more than once- this is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. To me, a perfect unit would enable you to only go over the area once... I find that the emoji epilator is the only one that I've used that I didn't have to keep going over the area (although I felt like that one kind of cut the hairs instead of really getting them from the root).
2) ingrown hairs - standard as with any epilator - but worth it to me. Not any worse With this unit than with others.

Braun Silk-épil 7 is the absolute best epilator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to wait to review until I had used the Braun Silk-épil 7 a couple of times. I've used another brand epilator in the past and had to give it up because it was way too painful. It comes with a storage bag, cleaning brush, multiple attachments to epilate just about anything, and the gorgeous sparkly epilator. For me, the two most incredible features of the Braun Silk-épil 7 is that it's cordless and can be used wet. Using the epilator wet has changed the game when it comes to epilating because while it's still a little painful (hello, you are yanking patches of hair out all at once) your pores are open allowing easier hair removal. I first used it on my underarms because I have to shave at least every other day and I despise it, holy cow that hurt but it's a sensitive area, the second time I did my underarms a week and a half later it wasn't nearly as painful. Next up were my legs, painful yes - there's no such thing as painless epilating - hair regrowth didn't begin to occur for two whole weeks! I have yet to try it on my face or bikini line but I'll work up to those areas. I do recommend epilating at night because your legs can become red and splotchy and you can use deodorant under your arms immediately after. All in all the Braun Silk-épil 7 is #1 in my book!
