Not smooth lot of breakage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted Braun Silk Epil Super Soft when I was a teenager (almost 10 years ago), it still works great and is in excellent condition. Braun Silk Epil 7 is my 2nd epilator and I was excited to know whether all the hype around it was true and did it actually lived up to its previous versions??
The packaging is sleek in black and the sparkly epilator excited the child inside me. I really like the shaver as an add on and now i dont need to use my husband's shaver. The shaver works great I used it for my pubic area as well as my underarms. It was easy to clean and impressed me. Also the light is great and helps in guiding especially near pubic area.
Now the actual epilator attachment did not impress me as much. When i first used it on my arm it was quite painful (I have thick hair and I shaved 2 weeks ago). I noticed that all the hair were not coming out and the epilator was actually breaking them instead of plucking them out from the root.
At this point I decided to get out my good 'ol supersoft silk Epil and decided to do a side by side. To my surprise my old braun epilator did a smooth and clear epilation without any breakage. I then decided to remove the upper attacment from my new epilator and did direct epilation, this time it tugged on to the hair well with minimum breakage but still couldn't match the smoothness of my old epilator. Breakage of hair was caused even during wet usage. I am not quite satisfied with what this new Epil claims - removes finer hair that are not even removed in waxing.
At this point I decided to get out my good 'ol supersoft silk Epil and decided to do a side by side. To my surprise my old braun epilator did a smooth and clear epilation without any breakage. I then decided to remove the upper attacment from my new epilator and did direct epilation, this time it tugged on to the hair well with minimum breakage but still couldn't match the smoothness of my old epilator. I only like the shaver and wouldn't recommend the epilator to anyone because of not through pulling of hair from the root and breakage.

Love and hate

I followed the directions carefully. I love the idea of removing hair not just shaving.
It was a bit painful on my arms than legs but it was bareable.
However it was a big mistake when I used on my facial hair removal. It gave me a rash and bums on my upper lip after I remove the hair.
I wouldn't recommend using this on your face if you have a sensitive skin like me even if the direction says it's ok to use. The rash went away over a night after I put the aloe lotion to clam it down.
I will definitely use it again on my legs again since it's plucking hair I don't need to use this machine as often as when I was shaving.

Great little miracle tool!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted to try an epilator, but was always afraid to. Now that this little miracle tool has come into my life, I may never shave my legs again! Started with my underarms, just to get one of the most sensitive parts over with first (brave, I know!). That was scary at first, but I quickly realized that the anticipation was worst than the actual pain. Although it missed a few strays here and there, they were very easy to spot thanks to the bright beam of light. I went over them and they were quickly eliminated. Then, I decided to do my lower and upper legs. Lower legs were a snap and did not hurt at all. Upper legs were fine too, just a tiny discomforting on the inner upper thighs. Now, the bikini area... That was a whole other ball game. Front was easy, but definitely not painless, as I have very course hair there. After much flinching and toe curling, I was able to get thru most of it. On the sides, it pinched my skin once and left tiny red marks and that was really painful, but also my fault, as I did not stretch the skin enough. I decided to leave well enough alone and not get too close... I'll leave the more delicate areas to my trusty old razor, for now. All in all, I will continue to use this epilator mainly because it's quick, easy and for the most part tolerable. I can't wait to see how long the results last. I'm a true believer!

So easy and it works!

I have used laser hair removal on a few parts, but who can afford all of them? So this seemed worth trying. I'm glad that I gave it a try and Iâm loving how I can do this at home. Scheduling appointments was always difficult and I can do this whenever I feel like it. I havenât used it in the shower or bath yet, but other reviewers recommend that too. The shape of the Silk epil 7 fits easily in my hand and doesnât try and buzz so intensely that I drop it. Great value for the results.

Braun Silk épil 7- AMAZING!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a Braun epilator for many years. Recently I received a new Braun Silk-épil 7 through bzzAgent #gotitforfree. I can't even begin to describe the improvement of the latest model. It works great on both thick and/or fine hair, it is very efficient even with the shortest hairs (that was the major disadvantage of my older generation epilator), it works great in different parts of the body and the pain is very tolerable. I love that you can use it everywhere (cordless) in both dry/wet conditions. I have been struggling with hair removal issues (Mediterranean heritage) all my life and I have used every method of hair removal... the Braun Silk-épil 7 is by far my favorite! Thanks to Braun Silk-épil 7 this has been the best summer yet, feeling more confident than ever in my bikini!!!

Where has this been all my life?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start by saying that I live in southern Florida so unfortunately I can't conceal stubble under long pants and long sleeves in the winter...lol. I have NEVER tried an epilator so I was very excited to receive the Braun Silk epil 7 from BzzAgent in exchange for an honest review. I'll admit, I was nervous because I've heard that it is painful. To my surprise, it didn't hurt... at ALL.
I purposely didn't shave for a few days so I had some hair growth. I used it in the evening since I wasn't sure if my skin would get red and irritated. It did get slightly red in some areas but that disappeared within an hour.
My legs have never been smoother and it lasts SO much longer than regular shaving! I love that you can use it wet or dry. The LED light is a fabulous addition for finding the smallest of hairs. The pretty sparkles on the unit is a cute bonus! There are 6 attachments to experiment with.
I love the Braun Silk epil 7 and highly recommend it! Try it and you won't go back to your old razor.

Nervous to try

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The last time I attempted to use an epilator, it was painful and didn't remove hair well. This time around I was a little nervous at how it would go. But the Braun Silk Epil 7 works wonderfully! I started out on the slower of the two modes and while I could feel the pull of the hair it was nothing worse Theban an electric razor. I then moved up to the faster speed where I was able to do both my legs in under 5 minutes! I haven't tried it in the shower yet but that's next on my list!_l

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit skeptical when I got this offer. 15 years ago I tried an epilator, that thing hurt so bad, I was shaking by the time I was done. The hair came back 3 days later, I never got a smooth feel. This product is different, I used it 3 days in a row, because hair grows at different rates, I was able to use it the day after I had shaved, it pulls stubble, and a huge bonus..it hurts way less than they used to. I really like it a lot
